Just did 1st servicing (1k) yesterday. Reached around 10:30am & collect nearly 6pm. Installed sun visors (missed out during delivery), fix rear a/c indications & replaced new roof-mount monitor. It's a Super long wait but all problem solved.

Is this LED light which you guys are referring to? I thought this light flashes every 2secs once you turn your ignition key to off?

For my case, it flashes every 2seconds and disappear when you turn your ignition key to ON.

I double check with my neighbour's car also same case..

This is the security indicator light, same as those aftermarket alarm light, just that this is incorporated with the car's immobiliser system. The immobiliser key indicator is a separate light from this and as attached.

You won't have much chance to see it as it goes off almost immediately when you turn on the ignition.

Read from multiple online news sources that Mazda 5 has come to its end of life and will not be replaced.

Those looking to buy Mazda 5 for all it's obvious benefits will have to bring forward your buying plans and take action sooner rather than later.

Yeah, the whole world seems to be going towards crossovers and SUVs. Look at the number of Vezels and Harriers on the road.

Nice. Where did you change, how much? Is it legal? TIA

The size for the small bulb is T10.

You may buy online from Qoo10 or Ebay on these T10 LED bulbs.

Very easy to change out including main Headlight bulb which is H11 size to match the colours.

Unplug the connectors, twist and turn and change out with plenty of space to work around the engine bay.

Happy DIY!!! [laugh]

It is street legal only if you change to a bulb with colour temperature of maximum 4300K and non-LED.

My experience is it is not approved to replace the normal bulb to LED version if it is not factory fitted.

I replaced mine to the LED type, and when I did my 3rd yr vehicle inspection they fail it and request me to replace it within 30days.

And was told that there is a $70 compound fine if got caught outside. But this was 4 yrs back, not sure about now?

So long as it's not factory fitted LED, it's illegal. Still applies now.

Thanks for the advice. Btw is there any normal bulb that is white light instead of warm light?

H11 bulbs limited choice.

Just go for Osram Nightbreaker, slightly whiter than stock bulbs.

Otherwise, just go for HID aftermarket.

Remove it when you are going for your 1st inspection at the 3rd car, simple.
