Yeap cheers

Yeah..

I have bought a new set of 17" new rims paired with Continental 225/45/R17 tyres ready for my new ride upon collection.

Bro..how much dmg for the rims? Where did you get from? What about the original rims? They got other options? Sports rims? 17" is the size to go for?

Actually I also prefer white but wasn't given the choice..SE said had to take black to enjoy the 2k ex stock discount..should be getting first or second week of May..no hurry for me anyway..but quite excited!

My HU X2750BT recently took a longer time to 'wake up' after the cranking, sometimes even took like 2-3 storeys drive down from MSCP. Wonder any member here experienced similar problem? A sign of battery dying?

I traded in the original 16" wheels for my new 17" rims with Continental 225/45/R17 tyres.

I also trade in my old 17" rims to them.

In total I top up $550.

A new 17" Taiwan rims with branded tyres would cost about $1.2K without any trade in.

Trade in of Mazda 16" wheels would be about $350 as they are pretty worthless.

Suggest you to finish up using the 16" tyres before upgrading to 17" when is due to change tyres.

I also planned to get black at first but finalised with White colour when signing the deal.

My Wife commented that I am boring as all my past rides are black in colour.

On a side note, I do realise that Black Mazda 5 is pretty rare on the road.

Black colour is a very classy colour and I would think you made the right choice.

I experienced this scenario on my old ride once a while after changing to new Pioneer HU 1750.

However this is not due to battery dying as i've just changed out to new battery during that time.

The lag may be up to 15 seconds.

I never go back to the installer to pursue this as this only happen about twice a week and I just bear with it.

Did you try going back to Trans Eurokars and check with them since your car still under warranty?

Is our mazda 5 equipped with alarm. Because when we arm and disarm the car there isn't any alarm sound. Anyone tried alarming the car with door open and if alarm is on how to reset. My old ride came with a reset button and have to depress brake to restart.

I suspect it doesn't comes with alarm.

You may want to install those aftermarket add-on alarm brands like Crimestopper and Steelmate for OEM using the original remote.

It does come with alarm. As I've mentioned in my earlier threads, one way to test is to stay in the vehicle. Lock the car with remote. Wait for a while till the blinking red LED light stabilises (in the odometer area). Then try to unlock the door from inside and you'll hear the horn sounding off.

Hi,

Blinking red led in the odometer area?

Are we referring to the same ride?

Any idea where is the reset button as previously asked by another forum member?

Of course lah bro. Please take a look at your odometer area, or maybe the correct term should be instrument cluster, next time you lock your door. What reset button?

Didn't go back yet. It's tough to explain to them, if it doesn't happen right in front of them.

I suspect is the HU may soon up lorry... will see how it goes..
