Of course lah bro. Please take a look at your odometer area, or maybe the correct term should be instrument cluster, next time you lock your door. What reset button?

Reset button is usually installed with any alarms.

Β

In the event that the alarm is triggered and the system goes berserk, the carkey has to be switched to Ignition On, and press the reset button to reset the whole program.

Β

Yup I saw the blinking red light, which I always thought that this light is the immobilizer light, not the usual led light which is standalone.

Β

Anyway thanks for the info.

Just press unlock on your remote and the horn will stop.

Β

That blinking light isn't immobiliser. Immobiliser is a key symbol which will only show up briefly when you turn the ignition on. It'll only be shown permanently if chip is not detected.

Hi All,

Β

For those who has changed their speakers for this new Mazda 5, any idea what is the size for Front & Rear?

Β

6.5" or 5.25"?

Β

All the speakers are oval shaped, 8" by 6".

Β

Does this means that for both front & Rear speakers to be installed using 6.5", need to use an additional mountings to fit it?

Β

Did you change yours?

Didn't go back yet. It's tough to explain to them, if it doesn't happen right in front of them.

I suspect is the HU may soon up lorry... will see how it goes..

I suggest just live with it if it's an intermittent problem.

Β

Even my roof montior is wired up wrongly by TLW to the wrong AV, which require me to select the AV button everytime I need to play DVD.

Can't be bother to tell them to rectify as it required them to dismantle the whole thing to rectify this minor issue.

Anyone knows whether changing the brakepad will void our warranty. Did ask the SE before, she says she does not know. I feel my current brakes not that great, abit slow in response.Β

Just overlay using velcro?

Yup, the velcro (boot mat) stick well on fabric part. But the velcro + double-side tape (side cup holders) came out after 1 day.

Is this LED light which you guys are referring to? I thought this light flashes every 2secs once you turn your ignition key to off?

For my case, it flashes every 2seconds and disappear when you turn your ignition key to ON.

I double check with my neighbour's car also same case..

Β

It does come with alarm. As I've mentioned in my earlier threads, one way to test is to stay in the vehicle. Lock the car with remote. Wait for a while till the blinking red LED light stabilises (in the odometer area). Then try to unlock the door from inside and you'll hear the horn sounding off.

Haha... YES, this is the icon.

I have previously mentioned in previous post that I always thought that this is related to the Immobilizer.

Β

However Weewee1976 said that this is the car alarm status..
