I recently got a chance to seat at the front seat of an ambulance during a emergency. I would say our SCDF ambulance is pretty well equipped. There are multiple on board screen and system and also a cctv for interior and exterior.

The driver quite zai, didn't even use the GPS and know his way. He maintained radio contact for traffic situation.

One heartening thing I notice is, apart from a few jokers, most Singaporean cars do give way to the ambulance.

My faith in humanity was restored at that moment...

Because many idiotic drivers got tunnel vision. Once on the road, only know what's in front of them, zero situational awareness. Don't even bother checking the mirror once every few secs.

Some road hoggers are even worse.. they know you're there, but refuse to give way.

See-riously nvr c TP clear rd for ambulance except for VIP.

That day, I saw an ambulance behind me with lights flashing on CTE. Was surprised ambulance nvr exit at Moulmein to TTSH but gg to KTPH. I was 4 vehicles away n happened to go to Yishun.

I tot gg to nearest hospital makes sense esp this case unless KTPH is btr equip than TTSH.

Ttsh more full than ktph

Yes, ttsh really more full..Admit patient then tell patient that they will b pushed to ward corridor then fm time to time patient to ask nurse to c if got anyone "discharged" in the wee hrs.

As for ktph, really cmi. Doctor asked patient what to do if the prescribed treatment doesn't work.

I stayed there in the 80s before for some minor ops, the hospital is kind of "dirty".
