Watwheels Supersonic October 9, 2014 Share October 9, 2014 ha! If I'm in error and TP enforce it, I welcome it. I have been driving for almost 23 years now and I can count the number of parking tickets, speeding fines I have received in one hand. Exactly becoz there's no enforcement 24/7 and everywhere mah. I also can count mine with one hand but I lost count of how many times I broke the law. Haha... ↡ Advertisement
Kb27 Supersonic October 9, 2014 Share October 9, 2014 What I hate most is big trucks moving in lane 2, parallel with other slow moving trucks in lane 3. They absolutely block everyone from going faster.

Rustyz 5th Gear October 9, 2014 Share October 9, 2014 The best solution is to increase heavy vehicle speed limit and strict enforcement of only the left lane. No point having 70km/h when no one is enforcing it diligently
Watwheels Supersonic October 9, 2014 Share October 9, 2014 (edited) haha probably true for me as well. So when ppl wish for more enforcement. Gahment will implement that GPS ERP that not only track your location but your speed as well. KNS. Your wish might just come true. Whatever needed to catch speeding lorries you and I are subjected to the same thing as well. KNS for all. Dan I will say fxxking "thanks" to whoever suggested for more enforcement. Dan I will say fxxking "thanks" to whoever suggested for more enforcement. Can't praise you anymore. This is so true. Now often it's these buggers who speed at 70 to 80 km/h on 50km/h but drives like a turtle at 80 km/h also on the expressways. Great with GPS ERP traffic enforcement just becomes easier and automated. Might as well use autonomous vehicles. BTW I don't see how TS can be travelling at 110km/h in the video. Traffic seems to slow moving at about 80km/h all round.
Quantum 5th Gear October 9, 2014 Author Share October 9, 2014 my personal guess is TS was rather upset by the fact that a lorry was travelling faster than his private car..totally show no respect Lorry faster than my private car? ridiculous because I don't want lower myself to this idiot's level, I first concern is myself and other motorists' safety. Quantum 5th Gear October 9, 2014 Author Share October 9, 2014 Why do you want to catch him? An idiot in front of you and pulling away is not a danger to you. A truck right behind you on you ass and you have to jam brake is a danger to you. I don't know why you want to keep chasing him, you always wanted to be a TP? But what I really don't understand is why you cannot keep up with him. He is driving a truck after all and a car is faster and more maneuverable. I didn't chase this idiot intentionlly, but as an honest citizen, we have the liability to expose those behavior of endangering society, indeed he didn't create a danger to me that moment, if don't expose those road rages ugly behaviors, they will be more and more in violence, many Innocent motorists may become their reckless behavior victims include youself
Quantum 5th Gear October 9, 2014 Author Share October 9, 2014 Don't waste time - the first basic thing the video needs to have is must clearly show the vehicle registration number and that is not available (not even when the lorry was right in front).... the police can't do anything without that... think the video taker better scrap this current device and change a new one that allows him/her take clearer video as that may be helpful if he/she gets involve in an accident (touch wood)... as some bros posted before, this driver didn't create any danger to me, and I also don't have any personal grudges with this driver, so my vid is not against the particular driver, it's only to condemn the behavior, this why I upload the low resolution video instead of high, however if TP think this case violated traffic law and need my evidence, I will provide the high resolution video which display vehicle number plate
Quantum 5th Gear October 9, 2014 Author Share October 9, 2014 Wah this truck got sport mode! I think so too, superised change lane w/o speed lost, definitely got TC + DSG, and w/o TC lag
Quantum 5th Gear October 9, 2014 Author Share October 9, 2014 I feel TS tried to race with the lorry lol although my car can smoke most of vehicles include all legal lorries on the road, but I never race on public roads to endanger other motorists,

1fast1 Supersonic October 9, 2014 Share October 9, 2014 (edited) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=utMx1mkSUCE&feature=youtu.be This happened on TPE towards SLE, even if speed limit 70km/h, but this lorry speed above 100km/h, short period even above 110km/h, in the end I cannot catch it at 110km/h, as per traffic rule driver should be prosecuted in court 1) The lorry driver was not hogging the road. 2) He was very decent in signalling his intention and checking for the all-clear before making a move. 3) He was clearly a fairly skilled and steady driver. He was *predictable* above all things - an often underrated quality on the road. In short, I think we should rather be *encouraging* decent driving like his on the roads here. Would you rather be hogged by him on lane 1 or even lane 2 going at or under his "legally mandated" limit? Would you feel less threatened if you were instead hogged by a sedan? The only things I could find real fault with in the truck are the faulty left brake lamp and a single instance of failure to cancel the right indicator when moving left. The latter is a forgiveable error, as it was likely just a lapse and he didn't cause any near misses. The former - well, he probably isn't even aware of the former issue (but the TP and LTA would surely give him hell for it, and I frankly don't think he's deserving of being tattled on for that). Life is about give and take and bending the rules. You yourself imply that you were exceeding the posted limit in order to pace him. That means you were breaking the law too. Do you think acting so self-righteous is justifiable after having bent or broken the law yourself? I know that heavy vehicles are a bigger risk when moving at speed, but it's not like he was a humongous truck. His biggest disadvantage in terms of dynamic stability is his elevated centre of gravity. On a straight road, that's less likely to be a significant concern. In any case, as I have already mentioned, I wouldn't have any reason to fault his driving. In fact, I can understand his frustration - the right lane is strictly meant for overtaking, and all those vehicles cruising on the right lane (including yours!) were not following traffic law strictly. Live and let live. Edited October 9, 2014 by Turboflat4
gasman 2nd Gear October 9, 2014 Share October 9, 2014 i actually hate these heavy vehicles speeding. They dont give way to cars. Bully drivers of cars coz of their size hahaha Yes. Blardie truck drivers. Almost knock into one that cut into my lane without signaling at SLE towards changi. And I was doing about 75-80km. So u can imagine how fast these tossers are doing. Godfinger Neutral Newbie October 9, 2014 Share October 9, 2014 Hi TS Since there is Advertisement showing the Company's Name on the Lorry, you can always call up their office and quote the speeding Lorry's Number Plate, Place of offence. Show your Displeased to the Company.
