Which model are you referring to?

I was browsing the last few pages; there are several bros selling at Paper value (COE rebate & PARF) + Body + monthly depre.

I can understand the PARF and monthly depre, but i am not sure how to get the Body value. Eg below.

Vios body is 1200-1500

Those cars that highlighted by you are popular COE models, it has high demand both locally and export market, it is why the high body value. Some cars can even fetch $5k body value. Unless you buy less popular cars that people send straight to scrapyard, then you can expect to pay less. Edited by Ct3833

Oic thanks! So the term "Body value", is more of a mark-up for COE renewal cars.

WRONG.

Body value is the price of the car itself (not paper value) that car exporter or scrapyard offers to you over and above the prorated PARF/COE rebate when you deregister the car.

And this body value differs between different models, and regional/global market demand.

Thanks for explaining

Mark up mark up.... "F" the mark ups, exporter like us lose out prices to dealers who buy for renewal of COE, Altis body can offer up to 5000, so its doesnt mean all is profit. Get it? Buy expensive, sell expensive simple as that, dealer offer only paper + body, anyone have any? the market has turned, unless you are driving a Subaru 1.5 RS whatever that is, in which got no demand

Ok this is not exactly left 3-4 month car...

I have a 3L subaru legacy outback till late oct 2020 to let go for 7.5K yearly depreciation. 172K mileage. Road tax till late Oct 2019. Car is stock, no performance mods.

Cosmetically doesnt look good but the drive is generally ok, smooth and quiet. It has pretty new tyres and leather seats from jackspeed changed about 2-3 years ago. Ive always serviced at dynotechnica, but its nearing due for next service..

It drinks 8-10km/l at sport mode and 10-12km/l at eco mode. There is sport sharp mode which I dont really drive in as it is too frantic for daily commute.

I've booked another car so will be selling. Anyone interested please PM.

Did not realize there is a 3L legacy.

Yes. There are 63 units in SG. Though most probably already scrapped. Its under third generation subaru legacy outback (2005-2009) with 3.0R H6 engine and higher end trim.

Hi All.. i have 4pcs old tyres+rims 185/55/16 to let go. Workshop say can still use 15k but i decided to change for safety purpose. Anyone interested to buy for car scrap purpose, can let me know. You can probably sell your current tyres+rims at better price than sending to scrapyard.. :))
