am curious, what is the power n handling improvement one can achieve with all these trd mod on a 1.6na. Eg 0-100km/h from 11.1s (sgcm figure) down to below 10s?

Maybe you want to sent the engine to Yamaha for tuning.  It might improve to 160hp with 250NM torque.

this is still a bnb car so these minor upgrades that I am doing are for better performance and maintainence in the long run. As for pick up, I dun think it can hit to sub 10 bah.

This is my thinking too. there is intrinsic limitation from the 1.6NA model and it is design for daily communting (I read there are 1.8 TC Altis in the states, that is a different story). Thus the purpose of the mods to me are more towards personalizing the car, not for track purpose.

If the idea is to upgrade the car until can perform like a WRX, i would think it is cheaper to buy a WRX outright.

I just trying to understand the purpose of the mods. I buy Altis because I want a confortable and reliable car for daily use.

You are right on this :)

There are limitations to this car. Though I am quite sure a lot of us are enjoying driving this car especially for long distance.

To add a bit of HP to it, get a racechip or its equivalent, but it won't outrun a turbo car for sure.

Wanna know more on this car, pm me ur number ;)

I just leave it as is for the first 5 years until warranty over first and stay away from temptations to mod :)

Hi Guys,

I am handing over my current old altis to BM next week for trade in and getting my new altis at the same time.

I have some question and will need your advise.

If the current car have some minor dent or scratches do I need to repair them before handing over the vehicles?

I have upgrade my new altis to 3M crystaline solor film, is there anyway to identify whether the film is crystaline when I pick up the ride?

This is actually my first time buying a new car, is there any specific things I need to check when doing the pick up?

Don't worry about those scratches and dents. Instead, check for scratches and dents on your new car before taking over.
