Is he the last of the "Old Guards" or fore-fathers of Singapore that passed away? [:(]

Can't remember any "Old Guards" left.

(R.I.P : Rajaratnam, Goh Kheng Swee, Jit Yuen Tong, Hon Sui Sen, E W Barker, David Marshall, Toh Chin Chye, ... too sad to recall all of them.. [:(] now)

RIP LKY.

Now left Othman Wok and Ong Pang Boon are the only living first generation leaders in Singapore.

Supersonic

In this press conference, PM Lee said that "His departure is a huge loss for Singapore and my family".

RIP LKY. I wished Singapore had done more to honour the man while he was still alive.

Turbocharged

One thing that all living things can't avoid, is eventual death.

Even though i may disagree with some of this tactics and strategies, especially towards those who oppose him, credits must still be given. For without his leadership of the team under him, vision of the future, we would never be where we are today.

He has done enough (or even more) to Singapore. May he be reunited with his wife on the other side.

RIP LKY
