I didn't take any pictures.

But you can go down take a look.

Today is the last day.

Wish I could... but Suntec is a tad far at the moment...

Hey guys, don't mean to interrupt. Am new to this forum, need advice from you guys. I saw an ad for a used 320i XL on sgcarmart with around 2 years of COE left ('09 model), priced at around $40k. The mileage is relatively low (in my opinion) at close to 80km, with close to $40k OMV value and depreciation at around $9.7k/year.

I'm currently driving a Kia cerato forte ('09 model) and am interested to upgrade my ride, considering that my current car's age and mileage is almost the same as the one above.

To be honest, I'm not too familiar with the sums here, so just want to know your thoughts please. :)

Thanks!

Mileage is likely to be fake.

If the real figure is around 160-180k km, will you bite?

This 2L has history of oil leak.  Can always sent it to R2D, Codewerx or whatever BMW specialist to check.

most importantly, how many owners before? on that 320I XL

If you see many previous owners driven that car before, don't buy it...

Neutral Newbie

Hi All,

I’m Place a deposit for 316i.

Sent the car to workshop and got the error as follows.

CAN/FlexRay bus system analysis: interface fault information “Signal invalid”

ZGM: Synchronisation process for FlexRay failed

Signal(wheel torque powertrain 4,40.3.4) invalid, transmitter DME / DDE

Can anyone share with me is there any big concern here?

Is it true that I need to update the system for $3k+

Thanks in advance

I am not sure if updating the software would clear it, though it odds for a cascading series of codes to come up unless there is a fault somewhere (seems to be drivetrain related)

Which workshop did you bring it too? A Bmw specialist?

Unless the problem is fixed by seller, walk away.

Did you get specialist WS to check it?

Hi All,

I am having some issues with my E36 cooling system and like to hear some advise.
My coolant seems to be dropping and I got to top it up everyday. I will top it up to the cold mark everyday.
But the next day when I start the car, the 'CHECK COOLANT LEVEL' will always flag out and when I checked the coolant will be about 5cm above the sensor.
I see no leak to th e outside of the vehicle and the radiator and expansion tank area seems dry.
I just changed the coolant hoses too.

Previously I had issues where there are air trapped in the coolant and after bleeding it seems fine.

I have 2 thoughts:
1) Radiator cap - Looks fine but is cheap enough to change and try.
2) Head gasket - But I see no white smoke. Engine oil looks fine too.
Any other likely causes?
