If not brining in the 1.5l turbo or Si/ type R variant.... The normal 1.6l just dont have the wow factor..

Actually the 10th Gen civic and 9th Gen civic has same price $$$$

So KM take the price as priority to the SG customers. So many people already predict the 1.5 turbo at $130K range and all run road. Current economy also affected many pocket.

Probably will ask KM if possible to indent 1.5L turbo on request?

1,6L comes with manual transmission option? If yes, it might arouse some interest among the Honda fans and seen as serious alternative to worst wagen TSI + DSG cars.

That is a pity. I remember the SSDC driving centre used to have a fleet of EK series civics with the manual gear. The gear change is pretty precise and doesn't have the notchy feel.

Not too sure if 1,6 litre is the R16a engine fitted to the FD series Honda. Will be interesting to know.

pricing seems attractively competitive (unexpected - this is not normal of KM, especially new model).

shape from photo doesn't really stand out on its own, nor from competition.

features seemingly nothing out of the ordinary.

But it is a Honda civic with good following and is well loved by many Honda-philes aching for greatness and memories of yesteryear.

the design of Civic went downhill rapidly after FD. the FD design plus the new 1.5 TC engine would have been a more palatable combination.   throw in a 6-speed manual gear box.
