  1. Honda DC5 COE car after more than 10 years of ownership. Wonder if Honda will bring back the Integra's and S2000's, nice affordable cars for the enthusiasts. More shots Engine Bay:
  2. Turbo Honda ? To me , Honda B Series engine is still the best. Honda has announced a trio of VTEC TURBO engines which will be offered in a wide variety of models in the near future. The newly developed lineup of direct-injection gasoline turbocharged engines will work on small- to medium-sized vehicles and will utilize Honda's Earth Dreams Technology. The smallest unit will be a three-cylinder, 1.0-liter power unit followed by a 4-cylinder, 1.5-liter engine. Both of them promise to have reduced friction and a turbocharger featuring a low moment of inertia. The direct injection technology will provide a suitable balance between high output and torque, while at the same time remaining fuel efficient. The 4-cylinder, 2.0-liter Euro 6-compliant engine is the crown jewel with its maximum output of more than 280 HP (206 kW) in the highly anticipated Civic Type R confirmed for a 2015 launch. 3. Honda has showcased the latest Civic Type R development car at its in-house test track in Tochigi, Japan. The Civic Type R will be the first model in Europe to have one of Honda’s all new VTEC TURBO engines from Honda’s Earth Dreams Technology range. This 2.0-litre, direct injection, four-cylinder turbo engine is expected to have class-leading output in excess of 300bhp and will be EURO 6 compliant. It is also believed to produce more than 400Nm of torque through its front wheels. Adaptive dampers will allow the car to have a decent ride when driven on normal roads and be sufficiently stiff when on track. Considering that the car has a target of being the fastest production hatch around the Nurburging, large Brembo brakes will come as standard and 19-inch rims are a must. The currently camouflaged car is being put through its paces as part of an extensive testing process taking place in Europe and Japan, ahead of its much anticipated launch in 2015.
  4. Mind-blowing car commercials that employ optical illusions and jaw-clenching stunts instead of computer animation are becoming the norm these days, and Honda joins the crowd in its latest European commercial for the CR-V 1.6 i-DTEC Diesel. http://dai.ly/x164f5t In the advertisment, the Japanese carmaker uses well-placed props and well-drawn imagery to trick viewers into seeing the 'impossible'. Cool. http://dai.ly/x16ia8m Now watch how they make it happen in an exclusive Behind-the-scenes video.
  5. http://singaporeseen.stomp.com.sg/singapor...-one-is-a-woman 2 idiots , what if children suddenly dash out ? want race , go malaysia sepang race lah, why endanger people life reporting this to tp
  6. It seems that Asian automakers somehow have the ability to manufacture pretty interesting super-mini cars. Take a look at the Mitsubishi Mirage, for example. It seems like Mitsubishi tried to shrink the car so that it can just fit into the A-segment. However, with Honda, things seem to change a little bit as the Japanese automaker seems to be lean towards practicality. You see, instead of competing in the A-segment as well just like the Mirage does, the Honda Fit (also known as the Jazz here) plays in the B-segment and it's quite big too. Carrying a chunky boot capacity of 335 litres, I think the Fit is a leader in its class. However, if you are satisfied with the boot capacity of the current generation Honda Fit, you may feel happier to know that Honda is already preparing the next generation Honda Fit that carries a total of 400 litres when it comes to bringing along your stuffs. Yes, you heard it right, it's the 2014 all new Honda Fit that's in the works! The car will make its first bow to the public of its home country by the end of 2013, after which it will also go global. But thanks to these accompanying Japanese scans, we're not going to have to wait that long just to know how the car will possibly look like. These scans manage to show us some parts of the car, including the interior and possible colour choices - two of which seem to be very bright neon colours - that Honda will be offering for its latest Fit. While the car is supposed to play in the B-segment still, it has grown a little, by 60mm (that's around a little above 2 inches). So, the car now measures 3,960mm. Well, don't be disappointed if you're keen on practicality that comes from a smaller size. The smaller the size of the car is, the easier it is for you to manoeuver through traffic, right? But, the good news is that passengers will have more spacious legroom, thanks to the wheelbase that now has a length of 80mm. This growth in size is probably partially due to the new architecture the car is being built upon. I believe it is this new architecture that Honda will also use in order to produce its very first SUV/crossover in the B-segment. Well, honestly, the car looks modern and is also prettier than the previous generation Honda Fit, although it does look kind of boxy in a few spots. The car also borrows a transparent nose that we've come to know from the Honda Civic hatchback of the previous generation. Now, let's get to the most important part of a car - under the hood. With the 2014 Honda Fit, we'll have the privilege to choose between a 1.2-litre and a 1.4-litre VTEC petrol engines. And, if we choose the latter, we'll also be able to choose a six-speed automatic transmission. Yet, for those who live in the European continents of this world, a 1.6-litre i-DTEC diesel engine that produces 120bhp is also an available option. Actually, I would say that there's still one engine that Honda will probably offer with its 2014 all new Fit. That would be the hybrid engine with a total capacity of 1,500cc in addition to a power output of 110bhp. This engine is previously used by the Civic as well. However, this engine will only see the light of day provided that the seemingly hybrid car pictured in the scans is actually a hybrid car indeed. Despite a bigger size than its older brother, the car maintains a light weight. This is possible thanks to the fact that the head and block utilises aluminium alloy. So, with its bigger size that makes for more spacious legrooms, do you think that the 2014 All New Honda Fit is still practical enough for you to be interested in? If you feel like sharing your thoughts, the comment section below may be your best friend.

Automotive exhibitions and shows are usually the place where auto firms showcase their new models, concepts and even technologies. It is a great platform for them to introduce such items where journalists from all over the world gather to report on their new creations. The 2011 Tokyo Motor Show is one such event. Currently taking place (01/12/2011), many new cars and technologies were displayed. For example, Toyota is heavily promoting its new sports coupe model, the 86. Honda might not have any new sports model or sports concept to show to the world but one of the biggest news from them is that they have a new family of engines that goes by the name of Earth Dreams Technology or EDT for short. The name might sound a bit plain to some but for those who are familiar to the phrase
  13. TGIF i'm taking a leisure ride to work today using KPE towards Marina Square, and i see a few ricer boys in their jazz or whatever (probably late for work due to partying last night) zipping through traffic in KPE. I decided for once to not lane split and keep in lane so i can view the spectacular left-right movements of these ricer boys changing lanes in mildly heavy traffic. And then we come to sims drive exit; and at 9.10am in the morning its always a backlog of vehicles exiting causing a small jam. I glance at my left side mirror and see this fella coming from behind me, switch to the extreme left lane (probably to overtake us slow pokes), he sees a dump truck along with a line of vehicles waiting exit into Sims drive - Screech, Screech some more, Bang right into the back of that dump truck!. Bits of metal and glass flow everywhere into the second lane. I could see some of the motorcyclists in front of me turning their heads back for a sec to see what the hell happened. Boy I farking laughed my head off. Hope he's ok though. Did any of you guys see it? Happened around 9.10am. Or maybe you could see the aftermath. Stay safe guys.
