Wonder if SG pics are so clear as well?

Maybe just as clear.

So do not use somebody else's identity when you submit driver's particulars to TP.

Is there technology right now to make in car camera take picture or video of driver and passengers if car is stolen?

Like activated through an apps or something.

A bit of privacy issues such as spouse can use to track you, but I think some of the expensive car owners might be interested?

There is always the option of hiding a GPS tracker inside the car, wired directly to the car battery to ensure it can continue functioning. If well hidden, unlikely a thief will be able to find and disable it quickly. They will be more concerned with driving the car away first to get away from the scene.

wow....interesting......but need to insert 3g or 4g data card?

Yup, need a 3G or 4G wifi router. Currently that is the only option.

Next will be a Xiaomi IP Camera + 3G or 4G wifi router. My testing setup. [scholar] And it works but no GPS lah. BV one better solution.

Yup, no good for motion video like our car cameras. But very good as stationary surveillance camera. The night vision version very good for MSCP which are generally pretty dark. It records in compressed 720p HD video.

The other thing is it will send notification to ur mobile when there is motion detected.

Now TP are changing the camera to digital, so it should be clear enough to zoom in.
