2017 G01 BMW X3

i hate the circular aircon vent from Mercs. Compare it to i8 interior.

One begs to be driven, the other begs to be chauffeured.

 

If every bmw model interior is same as i8 then its a revolution

 

 

I am not saying bmw should adopt circular aircon vent but they should replace their aircon design

Look at the air-cond vent of X6.  With that NBT, it look so slick.  Merc looks very unker le.

Perhaps adding rose gold to the interior panel could arouse the imagination of those cosmetically stimulated by bling factor in the interior.

 

Doesnt matter if its FWD, RWD or AWD.

 

 

How i wish they could do a F10 --> E39 reverse evolution with updated drive trains.

An E36 coupe look alike with improved refinements and drivetrain would be lovely too

X3 looks ugly to me.

 

My neighbour has one brand new X3, less than one month old.

Am not impressed with X3, he is now driving a BMW sedan, think it is a BMW workshop courtesy car.

Presume that his brand new X3 went to the workshop for servicing!

Less than one month only, already got a serious problem?

Haha, much as I prefer BMW to Mercedes, I think it's going to be difficult. The GLC looks completely different from the base GLA, while the new X3 looks like an upsized X1 (not that it's a bad thing though, they both look more muscular and sleek now).

I'm not entirely sure why but I find all the Merc SUVs above the GLA (GLC, GLE, GLS) a bit ugly... not like really offensive or anything but I don't feel I wanna call 'em pretty or handsome

X1 xDrive is AWD but FWD bias

i sense that more cars are built FWD bias with intelligent AWD activated when needed

90% of time runs on FWD in city road and stop-go traffic

case in point ... the new Q5

For BMW, it depends on which chassis it uses.

 

X1 is using UKL.  That's why FWD bias.
