With Jose taking over at Man Utd, now we all know why clubs like Liverpool and Arsenal are moving fast.

 

There will be massive shake up at both the Manchester clubs. You don't want to be chasing the same targets as them. Basically, you stand no chance.

I'm surprised Arsenal paid so much for him, looks like I'll have to eat my words about Wenger's tight fist approach. Or is he getting desperate?

 

I like to think he's aware that his team need reinforcements n not always from their own ranks n this spells good news for the long suffering Gunners fans!

After posting that, someone shared another view which I think makes more sense.

 

Not going for Volland could actually mean Gotze is coming. So you have your skilful player in Coutinho and Gotze.

 

Based on the RW targets missed, Klopp clearly want a speed merchant. That player on the right, Lazar on the left.

 

So depending on opponents, Klopp has more options to set up the team

Next season, with so many pedigree coaches in epl, the stakes and pressures will be sky high for each and every football match from day 1. Tougher and ever more competitive, but great news for football fans. 

 

Those days of expected dominance by 5 or 6 clubs are truly over.
