wdldalian 2nd Gear February 14, 2017 Share February 14, 2017 Any idea when is it coming to sg? When the current stocks are sold out. No one, even Toyota itself, doesn't know when it will happen.
Stone-Cold 1st Gear February 14, 2017 Share February 14, 2017 I just hope the price do not get too expensive. vs civic 1.6, existing model is about $10k cheaper. unless Toyota feels that altis can really 'pia' with civic, my guess is $5k more than current price. You may refer to Thailand or Malaysia Toyota website. The one coming to Singapore is not released to public yet. Everyone from BM is not allowed to share it with customers. IMO It will be around 110-115 depending on the specs The new safety features will push up the OMV and Toyota needs to make some profit.
wdldalian 2nd Gear February 14, 2017 Share February 14, 2017 One of the SE mentioned May. Anyone with pics n specs of the facelift version as compared to the current one to compare? Yup. May is likely. June is also possible.

This will make altis same price or more expensive than civic. Has this happened before? Not to say impossible. Of course based on this round's COE lah :) where civic 1.6 selling at $109,000 (from sgcarmart) and altis at around $100k.

Of course based on this round's COE lah :) where civic 1.6 selling at $109,000 (from sgcarmart) and altis at around $100k. Civic 1.6NA has only 2 airbags but the new Altis will have more. It is understandable that it will be more expensive. The current Altis price is highly discounted. It cannot be used to estimate the new one.

Cheefarn 5th Gear February 14, 2017 Share February 14, 2017 (edited) One of the SE mentioned May. Anyone with pics n specs of the facelift version as compared to the current one to compare? https://youtu.be/puS3nkzMVPA https://youtu.be/yClbli19nyo Don't get too attached to these max specs Altis in Thailand hor.. First they are proper 1.8V models, ours is a slow 1.6L...which is usually used as taxi in Bangkok....but their taxis came with 6MT! so power is still there despite the tiny engine 2nd, BM will make sure major essential items are deleted from the car to keep the OMV down. The paddle shifters can't possbly appear in local model. Too sporty for Uber duty already That cool HU will 101% confirmed won't make it to SG... Its too factory fitted looking already. Ours will be locally fitted 2DIN Toyota brand corporate parts that can be found in ALL locally sold Toyotas all the way to Alphards and Fortuner Edited February 14, 2017 by Cheefarn

It still depends on how many of us buy their current model.Unless very good deal clear old stock very fast. if slowly but still moving, BM will just take his own sweet time to wait for old ones to clear. Or can all pakat die die don't want buy current? See without stock moving will BM push for new model.
Inspiring1804 1st Gear February 14, 2017 Share February 14, 2017 What's the total price with those body kits in? Inspiring1804 1st Gear February 14, 2017 Share February 14, 2017 I am wondering how many of units are still left sitting in the warehouses, are they in the open under the sun, will this have any impact on the lifespan of the systems or parts in the car, e.g. Rubber window seals. Last I know, the recent batch is manufactured in mid 2016, by now would be 8 months already. When the current stocks are sold out. No one, even Toyota itself, doesn't know when it will happen. ↡ Advertisement
