Hi,

Those who have went to the SPC at bukit timah, to receive the SPC $3 voucher booklet, is there any minimum petrol purchase required? Or can go in take first then pump petrol? Hahaha

Someone say min $30. But I just pump $15 that day. Voucher for March so station should be open till end feb.

Regarding the SPC vouhcer - They refused to issue coupons without pumping petrol. Was told min $30 to receive. As I was using a UOB card, I pumped $60, but was still given 1 booklet as they look at 1 per transaction.

On a slightly different topic but still car ownership & expense related.  [:)]

Anyone's Motor Insurance is currently with Direct Asia?

There's a promo for referral and we can both get rewarded. Pls PM me.

Thanks

Yes, the usual card promo still applies.

The actual amount charged to my UOB One card is $48 (for $60 worth of fuel).

what is the best card to use to pump SPC? I tot it's POSB everyday card? Now UOB card is better?

tks...

I have been comparing using vouchers+credit card discount...

So far, it seem that Esso+DBS has the best deal...

Eg..pump $50 worth of fuel.

$50 - $5 (vouchers) = $45

$45 - 24% (DBS Esso Card including smiles point) = $34.20.

I thought DBS Esso card only gives 17% + Smile points? When it is increased to 24%?

24% should be including UOB One credit card rebate of 5% (but you need to clock 2k on the card for 3 consecutive months in the qualifying quarter...)

The staff said min amount of $30 was required. Also may need to prompt them for it.

Just to note with the $3 voucher, those using UOB card should pump $63 instead of $60.

Spc also having the cash rebate with AMEX card. Can’t remember the rebate % though.

7.1% rebate after the usual 15% discount. I think should be around 21% discount. Slightly better than POSB 20.1% discount.
