Honda Civic would definitely be up there, and if not for their pricing, the numbers could go even higher. I always feel Honda cars are priced way more than their value.

Am I the only one feeling so?

Poor guy la... only a new member and he/she has accumulated 22 dislikes..

I did pay $26k for my Astra....... in Australia :)

20k for a Jazz, sounds like a NZ/OZ price too..

Can't see the dislikes? Too harsh....,,,, None from me though. Edited by Pocy

according to LTA records, Honda Civic gross profit margin ~$15.5 - 16K+, while Toyorolla is ~$13K,

so yeah.

I agree, dunno why they are always priced higher than fellow Japanese cars.... Any reason in particular?

Think about Giodarno tee shirts vs LV or YSL, are they inferior?

Sometimes when you charge more, people equate it with quality..

But I do enjoy the VTEC engines, a wonderful thing. Take a 10 year old FD and make the VTEC roar, and it's still solid..

It's not just you. Honda themselves want to pitch themselves as a higher class marque than traditional rival Toyota, so their pricing is uprated accordingly.

Like how VW considers itself above SEAT and Skoda (though they are of the same group).

Thank you...for all your support....Getting 22 dislike is not a easy task and this can't be possible without the member support in this forum....Difference is only that I am increasing in negative and all the member are growing in positive....

C&C is the top retailer.. With four cars in the top ten... Hyundai suffers with a lack of options and their COE shannigans in the recent past...

More Mazdas = longer waiting time for service and more see and no touch during the 1 and 5k services?

Well im not surprise that mazda 3 is the top selling sedan car in Singapore.

The price, design and is made in jap

I think its quite embarrassing for the altis fan who always claim their car is no 1.

Btw if dont include diesel vehicle, honda is the number 1 in Singapore too.

At the current coe premium n economic, that mit altis with the cheap plastic interior and plain looking design still dare to sell at 110++. I wana see how their sales for the later half of 2017

No Honda Vezel/HRV in the top 10? I am surprised!

Only Authorised Dealer cars

Btw the BM 130k camry n the vios which is more ex than altis. Is really challenging the iq n eq for their supporters. Not surprise they r not selling and can no longer found in the showroom

Some people are allergic to PH cars..

I just saw a QQ as a PH, so that may be next to be shunned..

IMO, if a car is a taxi/PH, it's a statement that it's reliable and that spares will be easily available.. of course in terms of resale, you have to watch for the high mileage examples..

The HRV came out too late to catch the wave..

Comfort Taxi uses a lot of Hyundai i30/i40 but drivers always told me reliability for those cars are sheet.

Really?

I don't a lot of complaints from Elantra owners.. maybe Comfort scrimps on the maintenance...

Yes and they told me even Hyundai couldn't solve whatever issues they were having, so all will be scrapped/exported eventually but he i30/40 back seats are fairly comfortable.
