The profit-taking may be overdue, given that these parts makers, along with peers in the tech sector, had made big advances this year. But since these stocks have propelled rallies in Asian and U.S. stock markets, fears of a loss of momentum are growing. Initial demand for the iPhone 8 has been disappointing, U.S. media outlets began reporting almost immediately. I guess its cuz most would rather wait for the iphone X instead. The 8 isn't really very different from the iphone 7 or even the 6. Tim cook said the iphone X is the future of the smartphone.
