QQ ir Vezel ? almost 10k difference in pricing

Given these 2, personally, I would choose QQ over Vezel.

Main reason being AD versus PI and 1.2 versus 1.5. QQ has slightly higher torque?

No worries about PI going bust.

This is a personal choice.

Why buy something more expensive when you are getting the same item at the end of the day?

depends how much more lor

AD HRV got 3-5 years warranty and service?

PI Vezel warranty is considered gone case ... screw it!

if $10K more that’s about $3.3k per year ... worth it!

when car kaput ... then only realise warranty is critical

You get am English menu, warranty that works, and the reassurance that your recalls will be answered.

No runabout for your COE, no chance that your seller runs away with your money, and if you have a serious technical issue with your car, someone has to take responsibility and fix it.

Or you can run with the PI and save some cash. Some days you win, and you keep that cash you saved, or some days you fork out far more than you saved because you have a lemon and no one you can bang table and claim responsibility for that lemon on wheels..

Call me conservative, but I rather pay to sleep well. YMMV cheers..

Oh, don't forget the difference in OMV, PARF and if you had that faulty switch which needed a recall.. you are basically stuffed.

It all boils down to how much savings. If 40-50k for high end models which quite substantial why not.

And don’t assume that the rich won’t do it. They are where they are cause they are also careful with their money. Everyone wants a good deal!

I brought my vezel from PI back in early 2016. Kah only brought in the Thai make HRV.

if ask me now I would go to Kah for vezel/HRV(both from japan) regardless of the price difference.

Same here, i nvr understood why someone would plough tens of thousand dollars to buy a car that is not back by AD support, unless say model is not available from AD or at half price difference, if not the risk taken to save some money really greatly outweighs the gain.

Although the AD earns alot with a fat margin with the car they sold us, they do represent the brand and the factory behind it to provide technical and warranty support on the car vs PI who just import the car here and sell us without whatsoever kind of support, i guess i might be a tad risk-averse but no thanks.
