Forest City too far away from JB though it's closer to Tuas 2nd link, need to have motorcycle or car to go.

Unlike Woodland causeway, I can choose to walk or cycle across. Then with RTS can take rail to JB.

maybe for security and amenities compare to their landed, not that it is 100% safe, but for the burglars to choose your unit out of the thousands,  you must be very lucky liao [laugh]

The landed enclaves nearer 2nd link should be acceptable for security bah. Relatively speaking.

At least one street of landed the strangers are easy to spot. Here is really a whole town worth. Lol

Yes. This is what even Malaysian locals tell me cos

1) there is no resale market

2) the property market there enjoys little appreciation

3) currency is so weak that whatever little appreciation you have would have been wiped out by the currency exchange loss.

But if you are a Malaysian, then thats another story.

Price about the same as what MIL paid for it when launched

From the video, actually the build quality is decent just based on the general infrastructure.

Just that there is no pull factor to that side. And probably singaporeans would be looking at landed housing for that price.

Yeah, it's expensive.

I think there is a bus that goes in there from the Msia CIQ at the 2nd link.

One day when I am in the mood, I will go check it out....

Yes. There is one but the interval is hourly. Best to check and catch the timing.

Yeah but even with RTS, I'm still sceptical about properties in JB near RTS.

Quality is an issue not to mention you don't get much avenue to feedback if something goes wrong as a foreigner.

I've advised friends not to buy and those who did are now stuck.

Condos or houses in JB not meant for investment one lah.

It's more for holiday chalet when decide to stay a couple of days per week.

Rental rates possibly also not good enough to have positive yield.

A lot of JB property are meant to be sold to Singaporean,

For local, you are looking at RM300k - RM400k which can fetch rental at $3 - 4K

Diff market segment
