Atrecord Supersonic March 16, 2018 Share March 16, 2018 It's a break in her routine like you said. She probably never had a cue to check the backseat after she dropped off her kid at the babysitter. That day, she just missed that one trigger and subsequently went about her daily routine. It's our automatic system 2 that's on-going. Unfortunately, this one mistake had grave consequences. Yup... This is just really suay. One seemingly innocuous oversight, and she will - if she's a good mother - be remorseful for life... We can only hope that our minds are able to remember such minor but critical things... For myself, I've had similar lapse before but luckily it was far far less consequential... I have those hooks for the headrests of the front seats, which we use to hang plastic bags like for buying breakfast/lunch/dinner. Just a couple of months ago, I drove out for lunch and bought a fruit back along the way, and hung the fruit (in a plastic bag) at the hook... And i forgot to take it out when i reached my office. It was only 2+ hr later that i suddenly remembered, and the originally cold fruit, was almost baked in the car which was under the hot sun...
Little_prince Supersonic March 16, 2018 Share March 16, 2018 no mother would want to murder their own kid. sometimes mistakes happen the mum will blame herself more than any one of us. just pray that the kid didn't suffer too much what kind of parent is this?! Mother herself a lecturer and yet she is so irresponsible that she neglect the importance of Childcare Leaving her 2 year-old child in a car unattended. ============================================================================== Two-year-old girl in Malaysia dies after being left inside car for four hours PORT DICKSON - A two-year-old girl died after she was left inside a car by her mother. She was believed to have succumbed to heatstroke. Hasmah Masroh, 32, found her daughter, Nur Awfa Humaisha' Muhammad Ali Riduan, unconscious after she realised that she was still in the car at the Port Dickson Vocational College here. Port Dickson OCPD Supt Zainduin Ahmad said preliminary investigations revealed that the mother, who is a lecturer at the college, left the toddler in the car at the college's parking lot for four hours. "She only realised that her child was still in the car at around 1pm. When she rushed to the vehicle, the victim was already unconscious," he said. The mother then rushed her daughter to the Port Dickson health clinic but the victim was pronounced dead a short while later. Supt Zainudin said a post mortem would be conducted on the child to establish the cause of death. No arrests have been made. The case, he said, was being investigated under Section 31(1)(a) of the Child Act for child abuse. Offenders can be jailed up to 10 years and fined not more than RM20,000 (S$6,700) upon conviction. http://www.asiaone.com/malaysia/two-year-old-girl-malaysia-dies-after-being-left-inside-car-four-hours?xtor=EREC-16-4[Emarsys_Newsletter]-20180315&extid=6934d0cfb7b252f1ae9f0dbddf5ff88ca8637e77

BanCoe Hypersonic March 16, 2018 Share March 16, 2018 Such things happen once in a billion people; We hear quite many times people leaving their kids in the car just to go to supermarket (usually some one passing by the car) would just call the police whom might just break the glass if necessary ; It might be just a 10-15 minute errand and the parent sees that the child is sleeping and dont want to wake up the child as she/he may go cranky and its very difficult situation ..... but this one is really a freak one, I'm sure the mother will regret for the rest of her life and other parents will learn from this lesson the thing is that did the child die of suffocation of carbon monoxide poisoning or heat or even maybe dehydration....... must have been traumatic for the little kid..... . RIP little kiddo no rubbing in. just a sober reminder to all parents including myself that we have to be very mindful and alert when comes to taking care of young kids under our charge.

Acemundo Supercharged March 16, 2018 Share March 16, 2018 i sometimes forget to off the lights or lock the doors or even forget my keys ... but i cant imagine leaving a kid behind in the car .... its not as if we are driving buses ... precisely.......we tend to forget the trivial stuff. i did forget bring phone charger or laptop or bag of shopping. but never have i forgotten to bring my kid out because they are my most precious object in the car!

RIP little kiddo i admit i do leave my sons in the car occasionally when i need to run some errand including grocery shopping. but it was always a real quick one and away for them pretty short time and never ever forgotten about them and to keep the time away from them at a minimum. on top of these, i only do so for when in indoor car parkm and when the kids are happy or comfortable for dad to go away for a while. i still think this mother didn't not have so strong feelings for her son to have forgotten. ↡ Advertisement
