went KM just now to view odyssey n casually asked abt the jade. the SE say sales for it wasnt really moving for the recent EOL ones they will not bring it back again

Ody is a nice car . I changed my wife car to ody and 2weeks already . Family enjoying . But the car is a pain . Need stood or cleaning stick . I never really think jade will sell with such configuration . If they change the middle 2 seaters to normal bench type . It will definitely sell like the previous stream model beating Toyota wish .my friend in China has a jade with normal seating . Btw ody is at all time low price . 2k sgd cheaper than mine . My neighbour bought 170k plus when coe at 50k plus just barely 2 yr ago .

I purposefully chose a strict 6 seater mpv.

 

4 captain seats behind the 2 front seats.

 

No way MIL can board it as there is not enough seats.

Should just tell them to get the normal seats configuration.

I was almost buy the jade 1.5T RS too because of its 2+2+2 configuration.

The 2nd row captain seat is just nice for small family and maximum comfort for passenger.

However when looking the new ride in March 2018 basic feature like audio control on steering wheel, CVT feel, active safety feature, foot brake are among deal breaker to me.

 

I understand the new facelift shall come with sensing as standard for all trim.

I think Honda in japan is also struggling with Jade poor sales.

 

They have scrapped away their 6-seaters version on facelifted RS, left only 5 seaters & hybrid 6-seaters.
