Oh i had quite several Vostok Boctok back in the late 80s early 90s.  They were going for $35-$60 each and i was starting my watch journey

That's cool. Not sure if mine will be a journey as I'm nowhere close to being a watch aficionado, but I like weird stuff, and this is pretty weird. 

Just finished right-sizing my bracelet. Adjusting the clasp position alone wasn't sufficient, I had to symmetrically remove a link from each end. Now it's perfect. Those watch tools I got from AliExpress or wherever and stashed away didn't go to waste. 😁

Sounds like you are starting the watch journey……. 
these watches dont last long, i have to forewarn.   
they also lose beat and the mainspring snaps easily.

but yes very fun and unique Russian watches to wear.

U really slimmed down a lot. Is that a 6” wrist now?

but the transformation must be nothing short of amazing, halving his weight.   👏🏻👏🏻
