And who want to guess the weight of this solid gold Deepsea... Maybe the idea is to help diver descend faster :D

Not too  excited by the  Rolex new watches in Watches and Wonder 2024.  The only one which I think was quite good is from Tudor.

The New Black Bay GMT 58.  People was expecting Rolex to release the new ceramic Coke GMT, but instead it was Tudor that came out with the Black-Burgundy (Cherry Coke?), GMT.

What was great is that Tudor finally  got the thickness to 12.8mm  (under 13mm), where else all their other previous GMTs are very thick.  At 39mm, it is also quite a good size. The only thing I would pick- on is the snowflake GMT hand.  Wish it has a different colour rather than the same gold accents. Also, as a whole, I feel there are too much gold accents everywhere......

Hopefully, with this, Tudor will start making thinner watches.  They should make their chrono-sport model thinner as well.

i think the gold accents is cause of the original BB 58 dial...this should be very comfortable on the wrist..

Just picking your brains.

If you wants to blow 65k on a watch, what would it be.

A solid gold daytona, solid gold GMT, solid gold Sub, solid gold sky dweller, patek  or ulysse nardin freak X?

Wife's watch is still on wait list ,offer wife 10k to let her buy whatever she likes and she choose to buy stocks😁😁😁😁

Used to be able to withdraw the amount over ATM, now has to physically goes to the bank.

Horology, it been a poisoning journey, or could be my OCD at work😅

Am truly grateful that my switch from an employee to self employed has been paying off, but it was tough at first, very much like my horological journey, starting from the first watch and taking time to slowly build up what I've envision the collection to be ..9 years in total

Alot of people would say, xiao lah, 56k for a stainless steel rolex, have you taken your medication 🤣🤣🤣

And the sheer size 50mm, not even wearable, not including it's a COLD piece, deep down, be luckily if don't incurred any losses..which I predicted will be a slight lost in value.

Here goes, the only 50mm rolex

ZURICH — Watches belonging to Formula 1 great Michael Schumacher sold for around four million Swiss francs (S$5.95 million) at auction house Christie's in Geneva on Tuesday (May14).

The eight watches, including timepieces by Rolex, F.P. Journe and Audemars Piguet, were put up for sale by the family of Schumacher, who has not been seen in public since suffering a severe head injury in a fall while skiing off-piste in 2013.

A custom made F.P. Journe watch with an engraved message given to Schumacher as a Christmas present by his Ferrari team principal Jean Todt sold for 1.5 million Swiss francs.

It was estimated to reach up to two million francs.

A second customised watch, a Royal Oak by Audemars Piguet, was sold for 415,800 Swiss francs, beating its 150,000 to 250,000 francs estimate.

"Collectors were so happy to discover these timepieces filled with history," said Christie's Head of Watches in Europe, Remi Guillemin.

The lots linked to 55-year-old seven-times world champion Schumacher are part of a broader collection owned by the family.

Originally scheduled for Monday, the sale was delayed at short notice after Christie's suffered a cyber attack
