1for1 replacement is better, or 110% of market value? Hmm

IMO 1 to 1 is better..

Ever heard that the moment you drive your car out of the showroom, it depreciates over 10% leow.

Hmm maybe lll prefer 110% as market value in sgcarmart, seldom ppl sell car less than 1yr, mostly is agent demo unit/management unit. Thus their price is basically 2-3k off new car nia.

If insurance take same yr same make n base on their price as market value. Den wont lugi much n can change car if u want... Hehe.

Hi,

Does anybody know if the 250ps variant of the XE 2.0T is available?  The specs in the brochure look good!

It appears that only 200ps variant is for sale at Wearnes....

Have you tried inquiring to Wearnes? They do have it listed on their website. I've personally not seen it listed until now.

Hi, yes!

Realised that I was looking only at the published price lists so could not find the 250ps variant.

Was not considering Jaguar but chanced upon this thread and did some research, and now it looks like quite attractive alternative, so may go down to the showroom to check it out!

can try for Jag options/accessories, coz aftermarket things like solar film/car mats they usually give cheap cheap ones to cut cost.

Many thanks for your prompt reply.

Now they sold out all diesel versions and only got petrol available.

Don't know whether next year all cars will be more exp because of ves and zero coe increase.

but then I always think car dealer will think of ways to balance the price .. or not? cause this will effect  a large number of people and I don't think the 2nd hand car price will go up ?

haha, just to discuss here. Don't know whether it is the right time to buy a car since a lot of people buying car now and you can see every 4s shop is full of people during weekend.

LEXUS sold 30+ cars in a single weekend which is crazy.

Do verify this - but I think the Singapore version might not come with folding rear seats..

got folding rear seats..

just that the pulley / lever macham worst than made in china QQ material.. super filmsy

Only particular trim I was keen on was with leather bound dashboard. Even then, the stitching was crooked .

You would expect that a JAg with years of refinement is almost on par with a RR Rolls in terms of leather stitch and quality.

But you be hardpress to identify with quality build for the car.

hmm... I've always thought that the quality of jags should be pretty good!

seahorse - are you buying the 200bhp or 250bhp variant? since you are a first time buyer, you would presumably not be trading in so they may try to quote you a higher price...

IMO u can check out places like sgcarmart, or even Quotz to have an idea first, then decide if u want to trade in to them, or sell on your own

Many thanks for your prompt reply.

Diesel as I understand can still be had on indent basis. U can ask your SE.

Price wise u may not get it under heavy discounts u were seeing in the recent months. Just ask them..
