Really juvenile. Now granted time-off for 3 years.

I wonder though, a relative of mine that work in public service (not healthcare) tells me they have some kind of medical leave scheme, whereby can take day off if feeling unwell, without MC?

It’s good to be rich

teacher asks her class, "What do you want to be when you grow up?"

Little Johnny says "I wanna be a billionaire, going to the most expensive clubs, take the best bitch with me, give her a Ferrari worth over a million bucks, an apartment in Hawaii, a mansion in Paris, a jet to travel through Europe, an Infinite Visa Card and to make love to her three times a day".

The teacher, shocked, and not knowing what to do with the bad behavior of the child, decides not to give importance to what he said and then continues the lesson. "And you, Susie? " the teacher asks.

Susie says "I wanna be Johnny's bitch."

Apparently a lot of them in Dubai.

Yup govt or stat board type, usually have like a few days/year that can use this scheme.

sometimes hard to say. When we were in Uni, my friend's elder brother (like 10+ years older than us) got caught in affair.
He did repent. 20+ years later still married.

Ex-SGH doctor suspended for 3 years after giving herself MCs to cover absence from work

SINGAPORE – A doctor has been suspended from practice for three years after she was found to have falsified medical certificates for herself when she missed two days of work without a valid medical reason.

In a notice published on the Government Gazette on the evening of Sept 9, Dr Cherida Yong Chun Yin was ordered to be suspended from Sept 3, 2025 to Sept 2, 2028.

She was also ordered to be censured and required to submit a written undertaking to the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) that she will not engage in similar conduct in future.

She was also ordered to pay the costs and expenses of the proceedings, including costs of the solicitors.

According to the grounds of decision published on the SMC website on Sept 9, Dr Yong was a house officer at Singapore General Hospital when she committed the acts.

She was absent from work on July 1 and Sept 12, 2022, and submitted forged medical certificates that appeared to have been issued by another clinic.

Her ploy came to light after checks, and she was found not to have visited the clinic nor obtained medical certificates from another doctor.

When asked, she first denied the accusations but later admitted to falsifying the medical certificates, which she attributed to personal stress.

However, the SMC said “there was no evidence of any mental health condition impairing her capacity for reasoned judgment or volition”.

It added that the dishonesty exhibited by Dr Yong was “premeditated, repeated, and calculated, warranting the highest sanction available”.

The SMC said: “The deliberate falsification of official medical documents by a medical practitioner represents a serious violation of professional integrity.

“Although no patients were harmed and the conduct was limited to two incidents, this misconduct, while unrelated to clinical care, strikes at a foundational ethical obligation of the profession.”

Doctor come from old fashioned family like me.

Little boy fall down hurt his arm and start crying.

The parents will smack him on the bottom.

So he forgets about the pain on his arm.

Anyway why waste money the go and see the dentist?

My family just tie the tooth to the door knob and slam the door.

Free, fast and pain for 1 second only.

:D
