If you were to look at HK today, when they need more mask - they just bang on the pharmacy shuttle asking to insisting that they deserved to purchase more mask, their citizen goes everywhere to look for mask (but they forgot where majority of the manufacturer of the mask in located in the world). When come to fighting for freedom, they feel that it is their rights to use the mask to protect their own privacy from the authorities, and it is their rights to fight for freedom. This analogy is like, when I need/demand something - I should get it no matter what is the cost to others. When I feel that I need to fight for my own freedom, it is also right to upset the peace of the society and bring chaos to the rest of the people. Isn't such behaviour selfish? being an ASEAN chinese myself, I cannot help but feel ironic and disgusted at some of our own behaviour. None of us is perfect in all aspect, but such incident should give us some time to reflect and ponder whether if our behaviour, attitude, intention and motivation is for the good of the rest of the communities, or are we just being selfish. Well, something to think about it. The close proximity of the 2019 Hong Kong Protest and this Wuhan Viral Outbreak, shows that both countries need each other. In life, you may not get your way always, one day - you will need the help of others as well. Same goes to China, if you insist on imposing your system of ruling/governing the nations on others - one day, you will need to receive the assistance of the rest of the nations for supplies and medical assistance in times of crisis.
