Candidates for the Premier League Player of the Year:

Kevin de Bruyne, Ruben Dias, Jack Grealish, Mason Mount, Harry Kane, Mohd Salah, Bruno Fernandes n Thomas Soucek

For all the rest i can understand, but Soucek? He is good, but quite slow one leh... I admit that I don't watch West Ham much, but whenever i saw them play, he didn't stand out as a POTY candidate leh...

Seems like reports of Carlo Ancelotti being appointed back as Real Madrid coach are fast gathering pace. A blow for the Toffees but good move for Carlo as he is missing a La Liga title to complete his clean sweep of the 5 big Leagues in Europe as he already has EPL, Serie A, Ligue n Bundesliga titles already.

very hard. real is reforming cutting cost and overhead.

but lucky thing is barc is doing the same.

but if this 2 team cannot beat alt. madrid with their curent squad, how to do so with an even weaker squad

Unfortunately no though personally I feel he shld hv been on the list at least. I suppose one issue with Kante was that he only had an average first half of the season. He was only at his best in his favourite no. 6 role.

Don’t know why Sarri n then Lampard prefer Jorginho solely in that role much to the detriment of Kante whereas Tuchel setup allows for twin no. 6.

He was consistent throughout the season n came up with goals at vital moments though he is not a Forward. He was good esp at corners n set plays but u r not wrong to feel he shldnt be on the list cos despite his consistency, he doesn’t seem to be top 8 POTY material.

I’m not knocking him cos there is room for this kind of players in any team. U can see him more in Euros with Czech team.

A good choice naming Carlo as Mgr as he is well liked by Real players n he has a very good CV.

RM going for free players like Alaba whilst Barca even better with free players Aguero, Garcia already signed n likely Gini W next!

Sounds like Carlo couldn't wait to leave small club Everton as soon as possible.

Second rate club.

ya. feel sad for everton..........

but everton give the go ahead before the move is make. they got good compensation for it.....

but still feel sad... for everton

it might not turn out to be wise for carlos.  real had 0 players in the spain team for this EU, that is how bad it is for them.

Everton turn to Rafa Benitez as no other big name manager wants to sign for them.

:D

I think Rafa still has a home in Liverpool and his family is also still here.

Everton should get Nuno, they have money and he can bring in Portugese players.

Spurs should get Rafa, he knows how to defend and win trophies. They have a big stadium to pay for.

Palace should get Lamps, his father, uncle all from this area.

Wolves should get Howe, he plays the most attractive entertaining football and thats how Wolves like to play.

:D

Roberto Martínez link to some of these club also, i think he will do well with everton or spurs.

conte is close to signing for real. but player power prevented that i think. sad case.

there is talk of power struggle within psg internal. posh want to fight for power with psg board Leonardo particularly. he use the spurs talk as a bargaining chip.

good or bad, there are alot of movement transfer rumours going on with all the clubs, even chelsea. they letting go of zouma also,  some good money coming in for chelsea.

the most sad case is asn, despite their 'BIG CLUB' status, its like dead water inside. like nothing going on.

Roberto Martinez was ex Everton boss before. He is an eloquent speaker and I always love to listen to his insights esp on tactics and formation when he is invited as a guest during some televised matches. That said, my gut feel is he speaks better than he actually is ie good speaker but not so good at delivering but this is my own conclusion only.

Leonardo has clashed with Tuchel and now Poch. Seems like only the mild mannered Ancelotti got along with him. Again based on my feel and reading reports, he seems to be the problem at PSG but as long at the owners trust him, he has the upper hand.

Chelsea maybe European Champs but their transfer record leaves much to be desired. They let a very good defender in Tomori join Milan for 25mil n now want to sell Zouma who is a decent CB. He is not the best at ball playing but a good n proper defender. And then they will buy a 50mil defender from overseas who will need time to adjust to EPL. Don’t understand why they don’t use what they already have. They will try to get a striker but the top ones are hard to attain (Kane won’t be sold by Levy to Chelsea, Dortmund wants Haaland for another season at least, Lukaku may only want to follow Conte or else stay put). Not sure why Tuchel refuses to give Abraham a chance. Surely, if Chelsea can’t get one of those 3, Abraham shld be given a chance?
