Acewin 4th Gear September 21, 2020 Share September 21, 2020 My Indian friend says place 4 lime on the wheel, smash one coconut in front of the car and then drive off. First day all the way straight and cannot do and reverse so park head in on day one. Do be careful during smashing of coconut when it bounce off the ground don't damage your car. Carbon82 Moderator September 21, 2020 Share September 21, 2020 No special ritual for me, but 1 thing I always did was to drive the new car slower than usual, so as to get a good feel of it (enjoy the new ride while spotting any unusual noise and such) as well as getting familiar with it. Purely a safety reason for me as every car is different, so it is worth to "invest" a little time to understand your new "wife / mistress" before starting to trust and thrust it.
