I bought stainless steel ones. Plastic type will eventually degrade, crack here and there.

I use muji aluminum ones. Light and yet lasting. 15years.

Plastic ones not worth the trouble to keep repairing.

For stainless steel ones, the ring keep pulling apart. I have to solder them together. I'll have a look at the alum ones.

Stainless steel ones not say very expensive. About $10 and you can use it like forever. I have a few of these.

They replaced the plastic ones, as they degrade and cracked.

I use this muji for many years, so far so good

I even bought some spare clips, thinking the plastic clips may break

but none

Yes exactly. Plastic pegs nice to press. Not to stiff but yet grips well. 
even the metal cables don’t rust.

yes, good design, well made from good quality material

usually bought buy my wife or helpers

I use until I pek chek

bought muji after the last one falling apart

When i go japan, i see what's the price in yen.

I quite like Muji clothes. Bought 2 pair of pants when i was there. Very comfortable.
