Last round also like that, only slight sore at the needled area and that was it.

Means what.. Pfizer no effect? 6 months later can try other brands like Sinovac? 😈

Well different bodies different reaction. Many has claimed that the 2nd job would have more adverse effect and I felt the opposite.

Maybe I body system is mess up...

I had almost zero effect after 1st and 2nd Pfizer dose. Just felt a little more sleepy after the shot and the typical sore arm.

A reaction is good, but I wouldn't worry if there isn't a strong one too.

Cheers

Actually I am quite confuse having reaction is good or bad.

Other than the injection spot feel slight sore and hand a bit heavy, I don't have any other reaction.

My wife was opposite,  on the 2nd day she had a fever tìll 38.7deg and a very bad headache.  She is saying that her body immune system is reacting to the vaccine while mine is not. Which is more normal or better.

Aunty's talk that having a more severe reaction like body ache or fever is good. It meams the body is healthy and fighting the virus. And those who felt little reaction is not healthy.

Please enlighten me whether I may debunk that with facts.

Ya, I am old man. No side effect after 2nd jab. So it's weak immune response since older people are weaker.

Need to pay for these alternative vaccines even if the person never register any jab before?!

Those who opt for Sinovac, do they still need to pay for the vaccine since it's going to be taken from the gabberment stockpile?

"Those who opt for these vaccines will also have to sign a consent form to acknowledge that they have discussed with their doctor and accept all responsibility for the risks.

The Government will not subsidise these vaccines, and people who receive these jabs will not be eligible for its financial assistance programme for vaccine injuries."

But gahment say once WHO approve, the medical institution can apply to MOH to take from the stockpile.. So when that time comes, will the patient have to pay?

Got $$$ to earn of course the will bother lor.

I'm a person who is rather prone to severe allergic reaction. It all started back in my BMT where I had the first encounter with severe allergic reaction. It was the second day of my enlistment. After dinner, went for light run, came back company line, cool down and I started sneezing and lots of phlegm started building up in my nose. Then I feel my eyes, my lips and fingers started to swell. Scare the shit of our of my instructors and buddy. Was heli-evac from Tekong to Changi hospital.

Second time, was in US when I was there for work. I have had no problems with nuts and seeds. After consuming a small pack of mixed nuts/seeds, came the severe reaction. Got ambulance to the nearest hospital.

From then on, I have small episode of reactions with some food and that makes me careful with what I eat. I was also much more aware of the symptoms reactions and take anti-histamine if I spot it coming. I remember another episode where my gf (back then) accidentally feed me some sunflower seeds (in yorgurt) and I gotta detour and drive to A&E instead. There are other instances where I ran out of anti-histamines and gotta walk to nearest clinic for help.

Having gone through several episode of it and coming out of it, I'm ok to go for vaccine even though there is risk of reaction. But it seems like the online registration will immediately deny me from registering if I declare I have history of severe allergic reaction. Wonder if it is a good idea to false-declare so that at least it allows me to register. Perhaps discuss with the doctor onsite during vaccination to determine go or no go?

Moh guidelines has 3 criteria for anaphylaxis type reactions. Need two of three to be contraindicated currently for mrna vaccines.

- hives or facial/eye/throat swelling

- breathlessness

- dizziness

Copy & paste from MoH:

"A history of having been prescribed an Epi-Pen may suggest anaphylaxis risk and such persons SHOULD NOT receive the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine at this time.

Persons who had history of an allergic reaction to other vaccines may be allergic to specific components of vaccines which could also be present in the COVID-19 vaccine. These persons may still be able to receive the mRNA-based COVID-19 vaccine but require consultation with a specialist to determine suitability for vaccination. The vaccination sites will be able to provide the referral to the specialist which will be fully subsidised. These individuals SHOULD NOT be vaccinated with the mRNA-vaccines until they have been evaluated on suitability by the specialist.

Persons who had history of an allergic reaction to previous dose of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine or Moderna COVID-19 vaccine or any of its components SHOULD NOT be vaccinated with the mRNA-vaccines.

Severely immunocompromised individuals SHOULD NOT receive the mRNA-based COVID-19 vaccines."
