I'm didn't know nowadays send someone home the friends also need take farewell video. 🤔

Mainstream media continues to try and paint a very different picture of this incident.

Why the media support them?

Have to pretend cos otherwise plastering them on front page for 3 days straight is quite obscene

If they are just a bunch of people driving common cars, the media may paint a different story.

Seems they are successful people and can afford a m4, the media look up to success in Singapore.

If I remember correctly, he was drink driving. And the choice wording of a deliberate act of running the red light at excessive speed, causing a collision. This gave the insurer an excuse to repudiate all claims. But on paper, even if DUI, personal injury or death claims must still be paid by the insurer.

Due to his DUI, AXA wants to claim against his estate for all the compensation paid for 3rd party bodily injury or death.

That claim was settled out of court.

I don't think the media is supporting them. They just reporting what people said.

I don't remember any accident that the media or people they interview said things like the victims was of bad character and did a lot bad things before the accident and as such thoroughly deserve it.

And for us why do we care if this is truth or not? As in whether the victim is really very charitable? So what if he is? It does not takes away the fact what he did was wrong?

And so what is he doesn't?

The main issue here is reckless speeding on public road and putting themselves and other innocent parties at unnecessary risk not their background nor their character etc.

Indeed. I wished LKY style can be applied again. Unfortunately, this is slowly become see-hum era (aka Jamus Lim) - smart Alex talk alot but nothing realistic done.

I believe there is something more than that which the public do not know .

You believe, means you know.

If you don't know, then don't say you believe.

Makes you look like a joke, you know? :D

Things will move if the opposition or specifically WP (since you specifically mentioned Jamus Lim) get about half the seats in parliament. Isn't this the same everywhere, where your voice is hardly heard, or your proposal is plagiarized without credit if you are the minority, be it in workplace or school.

Oh BTW, I notice PAP members, regardless MPs or Ministers also blow a lot of hot air nowadays but nothing done. So how? :D

No we don't need more space for him. There's always the understanding of waste of bandswidth. We need solutions, not talk for the sake of airtime. The Parliament is not a radio station.

Jamus lim is a good smart professor for sure. It is best he continue to teach. He got too much theory in his head and knew nothing about reality.

Professors are aplenty nowadays. Just like how Bachelor degrees are all over the streets since 1990s.

Well even though it's reckless, stupidity, inconsiderate etc, I do think it is a tragedy.

Furthermore the definition of tragedy is:

  • a very sad event or situation, esp. one involving death or suffering;
  • A tragedy is also a situation or result that is bad:

to a certain level i agree with u .

but personally i feel its not a tragedy if some 1 play with fire and get burn in the process.

as for the ST . i think they just trying to clock up viewership.

this type of news 1 report is enough.

but they keep leeching on the hype and report non stop

I know what you mean bro.

For outsiders like us maybe it's not a tragedy but to families and friends I will say it's definitely tragedy to them.

No matter their stupidity etc. they are someone sons and love ones.

Most of us would have played with fire before I guess in some point of our life, some are lucky enough to tell the tale, some don't.
