Plumber Recommendations please!

I don't think the installer can install the faucet without access from the bottom because the hose is the last piece of connection.

What you need is a proper tool to tighten from below. You just need 5-6 cm diameter from below.

Any plumber can do. Or can teach you to DIY if you have the tools and willing to crawl under. 
but I don’t have a plumber recommendation.

A shout out to BS - yeah the name inspires a few giggles but Bala and Subra come to fix what could be a very serious issue

My PUB bill went up four times last month... and I was in NZ so something was wrong.. hunting down a leak is no joke, but they managed to narrow it down to three spots and we fixed it.

A day's work, plus some pipe tightening, and also replaced a leaky WC... good folks

 

And that's no BS

Anyone change basin tap before? Do I just need a faucet wrench? Is there a standard size?

But the tap first then the wrench! 

I don't have a proper wrench, and it was a pain to tighten using one plastic multi tool.

Adjustable spanner and pipe wrench is enough.

I saw a pipe wrench it’s 24/27mm. Is that the standard size bro? One for removing the hose and one for removing the tap nut?

Just checked mine. Yes confirmed 24/27mm. This is pipe wrench is the only wrench you need for typical basins With cold only taps. Kitchen taps or mixers you might need a 8 or 10mm one to remove the nuts to long threads to hold in a bracket 

I think you should know the procedure.
Shut off the water.

undo the hose on the shut off valve side with a spanner 

then thread the pipe wrench thru the hose to undo the hose from the tap.

then use the pipe wrench to undo the nut holding the tap in place. 
 

Installation is the reverse.

My sister's water pipe to her toilet basin just broke apart. Her basin is also bit cracked, so she's going to swap out everything. Waiting for her to get a new basin to replace (cos the size is out of stock). Spoke to ah soon. Quote around 300.

Else get my tool kit, I got spares even hahaha, forgot I bought some and got duplicates... 

Like tennis, even if you don't play well, you must get the right gear to look good ma... haha
