I too find academic achievement not a good indicator for future success. They won't starve of course but without the interpersonal skill and good EQ, most won't be able to make it past the magical 7 digits (except for the top specialist physicians, top accountants and top lawyers).

Already said before. Education does not equal Wealth and Wealth does not equal Class and Class does not equal Education.  Dont understand?

let me put it simply

When you do well in school , it doesnt mean you will become rich. When you are rich, it doesnt mean you have class.  When you have class, it doesnt mean you are good in school.

therefore at the end of the day, having Class is more important than doing well in school and being rich.   Understand boh?

Thats why I didnt do exceptionally well in school and i am not rich but sibei class one….

20 years ago yes ... now absolutely not

imagine BTO ceiling was $8K for donkey years ... then raise to $10K > $12K > $14K

this means ... many household already making $6K x 2 as "normal" ... unlike donkey years ago household $8K is a big deal liao
