Karoon Turbocharged December 26, 2021 Share December 26, 2021 As armchair critic, i think we gave indo too much respect lah. They're still in building phase, mostly 19-25 year olds, yet we treat them like favourites. Should've started with our strongest team and pummelled them like Vietnam did, then sit back. Seal the game up by 1st half. What a waste.

I think so. Once Sg's first choice attack came on after a man down, we looked very threatening. Also, when we were leading 2-1, Indonesia looked lost. 11 v 11, it was men against boys.

Didu Turbocharged December 29, 2021 Share December 29, 2021 He decided to go home. Singapore national football coach Tatsuma Yoshida quits post to be with family in Japan Head coach of the Lions Tatsuma Yoshida has resigned from his post, a year before his contract with Singapore’s national football team was due to end in December 2022. At a media conference by the Football Association of Singapore (FAS) on Tuesday (Dec 28), Mr Yoshida said he will be returning to Japan to be closer to his family. Describing it as “a very, very personal reason” for leaving, Mr Yoshida said: “I made the decision as a father - I have two daughters - and as a husband. Everybody wants to see their family and I also ... know and understand that.” “Although I will miss the boys, I will miss Singapore, I had to make this decision. It’s for personal reasons. I’m not only a football coach.” The 47-year-old will be leaving for Japan on Dec 29, as part of plans for his annual leave that were made before his decision to terminate the contract. He has about 2.5 months of leave to clear, said FAS General Secretary Yazeen Buhari, adding that because of this, “we may not see him coming back”. His contract will be officially terminated on Dec 31. Mr Yoshida first joined as the Singapore team’s head coach in June 2019. https://www.channelnewsasia.com/singapore/singapore-lions-national-football-coach-yoshida-quits-be-family-japan-2404446
Rm2s 5th Gear December 29, 2021 Share December 29, 2021 Quoted from local paper and I agree with his view Quote Former international R. Sasikumar said it was not the end of the world and suggested that Yoshida's resignation, coupled with the vacancy of the technical director (TD) role, could give Singapore football a chance to start on a clean slate. He said: "No one coach or TD is bigger than the organisation. We have two key roles to fill now and what we do with it, will signal our intentions as to how serious we are. "Indonesia have a coach who has coached at the World Cup in Shin Tae-yong and a club in the Singapore Premier League, the Lion City Sailors have an Asian Champions League winning coach in Kim Do-hoon. "Let's think big, get the best people for the job and pay them the money they deserve."

But if we made it to final, thais will probably lead 6-0 against our slower defence. ↡ Advertisement
