Help needed - Recourse for issue with car bought on consignment

Don't think its same case, cuz this wldnt be under VCS warranty.

According to the article this is a 14yo vw. Not new car, dunno how many owners too. Cannot bang table. Honestly, have to manage expectations. The "GTI" badge also dunno real or not. Maybe many owners zhng until chui liao.

I think this mechatronic unit isnt the first and only part that will have issue. The lower lip of the body kit also repaired before. Look at the crack. 

Whoa this guy go and spend so much on the bucket seats. He should have saved it for repairs.

Like I said, need to manage expectation from such cars.

When newbies with no mechanical knowledge see the car "zhnged" up swee swee, their eyes will open big big and throw caution to the wind and buy the car. Then later on cry father cry mother when shite hits the fan. This case is particularly applicable. Spent money on bucket seats instead of maintenance? lol

But the article didn't mention that the current owner spent money on the bucket seats, so maybe also changed by previous owner

Tbh, he tried to talk down the dealer to get warranty and get things fix foc, ppl in the industry will know he is new to this. Trying to get media on his side wont help. The dealer's skin is thicker than the wall. Company's name in the news is free publicity to them. Shaming doesnt work in this case.

He should have done his research properly. Consignment cars = no warranty from anyone. Somemore kena suan by the dealer saying he didn't do his due diligence power move from the dealer

@Kyrios 14 Years old VW trashed GTI still want Lemon Law..haha..Hawker should buy a less than 10 years old Altis.
