The physics dictate that you can only go hypersonic at very high altitudes. Heat and air resistance is proportional to velocity.

Hence launched by mig 31s at very high altitudes. Or ballistic type delivery.

Against a maneuvering ship, not much point. Hence why even the Chinese DF will not find it easy to hit a huge ship like a carrier despite all the claims.

Shangri-La allows Defense Ministers to have off-the-record discussions.

More talk will reduce friction.

The problem is China Defense Minister is more of a military liaison officer as military belongs to the party.

When Dong Jun being asked about SCS and Taiwan, he definitely has no answer. The answer lies with CCP CMC Chairman.

Apparently some non-Chinese-speaking pple don't know who were at the SLD.

These attending PLA delegates have far higher professional qualification that that Pete Hegeth who only know telling Asian to spend 3.5% of their GDP on military spending.

Everyone know SLD had been a platform for Western countries and their vassal states to spew anti-China rhetoric the SLD.

CCP Chairman already had a warm meeting with the visiting POTUS recently in Beijing and TW Province already settled between the 2 President.

There are more important matters to attend than coming to SLD where kah-kiah come to chitchat at a hotel near Orchard Road?

Meanwhile, China uses 香山 to push its narrative.

By having both dialogue, we move toward a multipolar world where 1 allows open diu while the other one is tiam tiam listen to 領導。

Not sure if you even bother to FACT CHECK beyond what you get from the English-speaking media.

Sad to see our aunty @inlinesix keeps parroting the false narrative that China is not at SLD 2026.

 

China presentation from the PLA Prof 孟祥青  who lead a team from PRC's  National Defense University.

YJ-19 Hypersonic Anti-Ship Cruise Missile

• 2 speed at different phase- Cruise speed> Mach 5. Terminal attack at Mach 10.
• Range: Classified (likely > 500km) as air-breathing engine has much longer burn time than rocket propellant.
• Engine: Scramjet with booster for ignition
• Launch platform: Submarine.

 

One can only be "dictated" by physics if you don't the have the technology and engineering edge to break it.

And its only gotten worse since then.  Many asean countries have or are in process of acquiring long range anti naval capabilities. They aren't preparing to fight Japanese carriers and "fishing boats" 😂

Ah Chan need time to mature from scholar in civil service into old fox in KTV la. Not easy mental process leh. Its like changing OS.

Ah Ng already monkey king level liao, throw him into furnace also wont die, money cannot buy that kinda experience 😆
