This high scoreline win the next game will be hard to imagine. Hope they carry this performance back home. 1st half cannot let that man c get an upper hand, if not 2nd half will be hard to catch up. They are not like this Rangers.

Pool played better in the 2nd half. much better and once the 2nd goal scored by Bobby is in the net, you can see the confidence and sharpness returning, oozing through the entire squad up and down the pitch. That's what confidence do to even the elite players which Pool have...

Same thing for salah.. if he stops snatching at shots, you can see the quality of his finishes. What is happening in most games is that he is rushing into shots cos of the lack of composure. Once he scores the first goal which was due to poor defending and GK for Rangers, the other 2 goals were typically the cool finishes we all expect from Salah.

I feel playing Gomez as the RB gives the defence alot more balance and stability.  Expect Robbo to come back to the 1st team as Tsimikas's play in the last few games have been quite bang average.  He was exposed a few times last night.  When Robbo returns and Gomez plays as RB, i do feel the defence will grow to be tighter in the next few games. But City will still be a big test and I wonder if it has come too soon against a defense which is still trying to get to speed.

Fabinho had a better game primiarily cos he was under less pressure. Hopefully he picks up form too as he is so crucial to the balance of the squad.

all in all, good win which puts Pool at the driving seat for qualifying for the knock out stage. They need 1 more pt away to Ajax and home to Napoli.

When Pool was struggling in the 1st half with Rangers, Mane scored a goal for Bayern.

Can see that Rangers try to press quickly taking advantage of how slow Pool pass the ball out.

That's why I say we are like Brendan Rodgers' Swansea... Tiki taka in our defensive third until pple come press then rely on Thiago to break the press.. as a result, the forwards are all over the place and slow in transition.

Turbocharged

With last night/this morning result, we just need a point from the last 2 remaining games to qualify for the knockout stage. Next UCL game is away to Ajax

The high score line masked the fact we conceived first goal again. Do that against any premier League team we will get roasted.

Rangers whole team cost 40million. Darwin alone already can double that.

Against Rangers ok lah - But this Sunday vs Citeh leh - different ball game. Pool must be firing on all departments to get a positive result and hopefully can build positive results after this Sunday game.

Cannot lost anymore games ler if to challenge for EPL title.

This season in the EPL title is gone case.  We are fighting for top 4. With Mane gone and the midfield being held in a holding pattern with no real arrivals, this is definitely a transitional season.  Think Klopp will likely be given funds to invest in the team next season, esp in midfield.
