1-1 is a good result for Pool considering the low possession rate and only few chances were created.

Hope Alison is ok. 

The sub in of Endo at the end was a life saver imo.  He took a yellow card from what could be a dangerous run down the midfield by Doku during stoppage time.

City played at home ground and lost the advantage.

Return match at Anfield and we will win.

Next season we will be better as we will invest in defenders.

Last season we bought attackers.

This season we bought midfielders.

Next season we will have a proper defence again.

we should get max points and can rest players in the Europa games.

A 2nd half strike by TAA earn Liverpool a 1 - 1 draw away at Man C.

Alisson was guilty of a couple of poor passes. Hopefully his injury (suspected hamstring) is not too serious.

We started the game very typical of an away team with an early kick off after international break.

In the end, I think most would take the draw.

Before the match all these jokers were saying 12.30 kick off Klopp made a fuss of it is nonsense. It doesn't affect the game.

After the game say City are gassed - punctured and no energy because of the 12.30 kick off. Steve Nicol a former Liverpool player said Silva disappeared because of tiredness.

So before the game said Klopp talking nonsense. After the game said 12.30 kick off means all ran out of steam!

Why after every international break always Liverpool get the 12.30 kick off?

The good thing about this time was it was City also playing at 12.30.

Their South American players also tired in the second half!

Doku a left winger couldn't go pass our midfielder playing makeshift right back TAA!

Abd we all know TAA cannot defend. RM Vicious Jr and Sane always roast him and score!

We could have got Doku or Luis Diaz and looks like very lucky we got Diaz!

The funniest thing was when Matip ran pass Doku and Matip is 32 years old!

Doku reminds me of Adama Troare both big and strong and fast but no football brain.

Diaz just like Jota not fast, not tall, not silky tricks and flicks but git football brain always scores and provide assist!

Alison made a lot of mistakes because he was tired and not sharp.

City Edison was relaxing for this game and Alison had to fill in for him in the last 2 Brazil games.

What happened?

Pep always targets TAA and this time it was the same.

Told his players give it to Doku and Doku to just attack TAA.

Doku never went past him and TAA turn the tables

and ran all the way up the pitch and scored.

And TAA was the Man of the Match not Doku!

While Pool slipped to 3rd in the table with this draw at city, i think Pool is going to have a massive advantage in the 2nd half of the season, if they are still in the reckoning for the run in. 

Most of the toughest away games in the league have already played - City, Spurs, Chelsea, Newcastle and Brighton. These are grounds where Pool traditionally will drop points.  Pool only lost at Spurs.  With Pool's rich form at home, all these competing clubs will have to visit Anfield in the 2nd half of the season so if you ask me, Pool has a significant advantage come the business end of the season. Those clubs with UCL competition will have to prioritise their resources while Pool may choose to more focused on the league and the Europa is just a healthy cup competition to provide players with playing time. 

Pool is the only team to have left City with the share of the points in almost a full calendar year.  Klopp's assessment is that Pool played ok. If the team had played well, Pool might have stolen all the points. But more neutrals will say a draw is a fair result so that is a credit to the team. 

The negatives in this game is the injuries sustained by Jota. Alisson also looked like he pulled a muscle hopefully it is not too serious.

sure get injured very easily.

Hopefully Alisson's injury is not too serious as we are heading into a busy Dec fixtures. If it is 2-3 weeks, should be ok.  Jota's injury probably abit more serious by the tone of J Klopp's update after the game.  

Tactically, Pool played a  smarter game against City. Klopp has learnt his lesson from last year thrashing at the Etihad. While we can play with intensity, a super high press in this game will not work.  Plus the fact the midfielders this season has more legs so Pool was able to cope with City's possessional play much better this game. In fact, City scored only through a rare combo mistakes of 1 Gk + 1 MF + 1 RB  + 2CBs inability to close up Haaland. Other than that, for all the dancing by Doku and the center penetration by Haaland, City probably produced the least number of good scoring opportunities at the Etihad in a long while.  City did not make a single sub in the game which tells you that Pep was worried that the change will swing the momentum back to Pool.

Liverpool preparing €90M bid; Klopp has "convinced" him to join

Liverpool are seriously interested in beating Europe's biggest clubs to Bayer Levekusen prodigy Florian Wirtz and are ready to put their money where their mouth is.

According to Spanish outlet Nacional, Liverpool are preparing an offer to sign Wirtz.

Spanish media outlet know better than British journalists!

Anyway I wished it was true. Wirtz is really good.

My speculation at this point is Salah will sign extension for another year at least and all these rumours of adding attackers will be put to bed.  The Saudi league is not a bed of roses for most stars who joined the league - Hendo, Bobby, Fahinho are all struggling in their respective teams. Am sure Salah will be aware.  Hopefully he takes heed.  

Alisson likely out for 2-3 weeks which is probably a consolation prize at this stage. Hope he will be fit for the game vs Utd.  Jota likely only be back in the new year.  Tonight, let's hope the team gets the win + confirm top the group so there would be less pressure in the last game of the group phase.
