how to remove micro/fine scratches on windscreen

I suspect I was scrubbing too forcefully when i tried the soft99 glass stain cleaner/remover to remove the oil film. Now I see fine scratches running horizontally all over my windscreen.

Are there shops that can help polish or otherwise remove these very fine scratches on windscreen? i tried the home remedies like toothpaste + soda but not effective in my case, maybe i did not do it right....

Asking in MCF, there is only one answer/solution.....

I'll give an alternate solution

last time my windscreen got a big crack

I claimed insurance and paid $100 to get it replaced by a new windscreen 😁

IMHO.
If Corolla Altis, try to polish it away and do coating.
If replacement, have to remember it is using acoustic glass.

Most glass cleaner will be able to musk the scratches, water marks on your windscreen.

I myself had used armorall glass cleaner, even Selleys, etc.

After a while the scratches wont be so visible or maybe I got used to it. LoL

If you are trying to remove the water stains, it will be difficult. Dont buy, DO NOT buy those stupid powder and polish the glass, cos after that the water stain will come back even worse. You can minimise it by using the synthetic or sheepskin cloth to clean and dry after car wash. Then use the glass cleaner to musk it.

My case, I have tree sap stains on rear windscreen and sunroof. Still figuring out how to clear it.

If have Unlimited Windscreen Replacement Insurance,He should just break the Windscreen, pay $108.00 Excess...& move on.

Wouldn't that cause premium hike at renewal since there's a prior claim?

I use this one, effortless

but I clean it within a week

if yours already baked by the sun or left too long, may need to soak it for a while and rub harder

I have this. Not this bottle. The automotive one. Probably didn't rub hard enough.
