Tiagong Skoda Kodiaq sold many cars due to their competitive pricing at the show…

VW Golf got sales promo and all snapped up.. Sinkies really damn lich..

Face value? I don't think those driving conti now will consider MIC willingly.
But having a tesla to them is fine. After all the definitive BEV is a Tesla.

Brand loyalty is still there. But it will get eroded further if the legacy automakers solutions are not differentiating enough.
Especially singapore is ageing, the brand loyalty bias among those who can afford it will only strengthen.

I think for now 5+2 SUVs and Small minivan series, the germans and the japs respectively still have the better offerings.
Cos for china, to them to fit 7 pax = Alphard sized vehicles. So mismatch for a city state like us.

There's only 1 mifa 7 which fits into this category.

Indeed face value. If the person is driving a conti car, likely he/she would not want a MIC, maybe even MIK also unwillingly. Lol.

It's quite natural. The more expensive an item is, the more important brand loyalty and status quo is. Known vs unknown.

Unless your initial framing of the question is different.

U be surprise.. locals here are still fixated by MIC equals lost of face .. and hence premium brands like zeekr Volvo , polestar and smart will have a uphill task.. in fact polestar seems to be struggling to sell their pre facelift front wheel drive and clearing stock

I did consider, their selling price is too high. With zero ARF.

Those looking for a solid and well built interior will surely opt for German or Japanese brand…

Entry level and mid tier MIC interior still missing the touch…

Not really .. Byd dealer use to have Ford and we know how established the car was lol

Ford was a good brand once upon a time. They just decided on a different strategy and Singapore fell by the wayside.

Ford laser is base on Mazda 323.

Basically a 323 with a Ford badge.

American Ford model is like rubbish.

Remember drove the rental Ford Taurus in US in the mid 90s during business trip. Drink patrol like no tomorrow, suspension is so soft like pillow.

Ya it is a sillyporean syndrome. Anyway, I know of bmw owner switched to xpeng and merc owner switched to MG, so not totally true lah.

Ford just like Mitsubishi has no product suitable for our little market.
