land and COE are both “scarce good” in Singapore

at this rate, I can see COE soon will be like landed property

if you cannot afford a landed house, you probably cannot afford to own a car too

Parking lot is the next cash cow that is not yet trending. Selling parking lot like coe will generate income

Soudesuka Jeffrey san is seeing the big picture neh? Anoneh, we peasants living in the well only see a small part of the sky?

Adoption of autonomous vehicle will resulted in some bus and taxi drivers becoming jobless, and the natural progression for them is to become Grab / Gojek driver. Therefore have to allocate more COEs for phv operators? JS is really 用心良苦, 慈悲为怀 ah...

Adoption of autonomous buses helps solve the labour crunch.

I will fight this tooth nail and claw. This type of sentences are made by educated folk justifying being overpaid and other people paying the costs of mishaps.

They issue licenses and permits. That's a right to enter their market.

You can pay 1000% and still not get the right.

I won't comment further but I have seen and know my fair share.
