Poor interaction between Guo Liang and Chantelle. She is simply parroting what Guo Liang says and not complementing him at all. She can't cover for him when he make mistakes.

I understand we should give newbies a chance but I think they should have added in another experienced host, with Chantelle supplementing them. Less pressure for her too.

This year Star Awards is painful to watch.

Mediacorp is operating a passe form of entertainment.

Was trying to help my mum watch, but it was extremely difficult

1. Mewatch is buggy, hangs, or does not load, else will blast viewers with out of sync volume ads, so you can be watching a drama, suddenly you are blasted with ad jingles of several amplitudes higher.

2. No free to air receiver, nor does my TV come with it, so I can't receive digital broadcast

3. Finally managed to find star awards live via youtube, but it seems to be only for this event, and not a continuously running channel

Anyway, this year star award indeed painful to watch, the flow of the show is not there. And the planning of award presenter quite poorly done. Wonder why some award needs 3-4 people to give out the award??

And Chen Liping when giving out the award, talking and behave  like some low ses auntie and doesn’t behave like some ah jie level artist. 

Best is this year they cut off the mic while the award winner is still talking when they overrun, how could they do this in an award ceremony. 😅

I never like Chantelle, find that she behaves like she is very good or thought she is lin mei jiao’s daughter, so means that she must be good. 🙄

why anyone want to waste their time watching these type of nonsense is beyond me sia... with all the options available. I will rather watch good quality japanese documentary than this. at the very least, i can learn new things and improve on myself. rather than sbc sh** that rot my brain

After so many years, Mediacock still cannot do a live production properly.

Even starting from the Walk of Fame pre-show, so many slip ups. Camera direction dunno point where. Dead air and awkward silences all the time.

Main show also same. Cannot get the timing right (as always). Muting the mike was extremely rude. Guo Liang strangely was fumbling even though he's such an experienced host (must have been affected by all the slip ups, which says a lot). And then giving out the Top 10 in a rush before letting them speak was just utterly bizarre.

30 years and yet still feel like amateur hour. Hopeless. Still have the cheek to nominate ownself for award year after year. Really got no shame.

I am always the Top salesman in my company for the past ten years because i am the only sales person

Even though you think that the Star Award is badly done, and yet they always win the best variety show award. Lol.

Anyway, don't understand why they need to start the pre-show at 5pm so early, esp during such a super hot weather. Also after show party, they hold it outdoor which again not suitable in such a hot and humid weather wearing those dresses and suit.

only 54?  I thought he is at least 56 - 57
