IMHO.
For Toyota Singapore, BM say is 10,000 or 6 months.
A typical car in SG averages about 17,500 km per year. 
Six months is 8,750 km - very close to 8,000 km or 6 months oil change.

Lexus LX is a soccer mum SUV for urban usage.  It is "too expensive" to go to the outback.

LC76 is for the outback especially it is a diesel engine.
