Like that even if 0-100km/hr is 14sec also can put big big already. Believe there's a typo in the brochure. The Dongfeng eπ 007 (pronounced 'e pi') is meant to be aerodynamically efficient and it's Coefficient of Drag (CoD) should be 0.209. There's two versions of the eπ 007 available in China. The first is Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV), which is what Singapore is getting. The second is a Extended Range Electric Vehicle (EREV) - which has a 1.5L range extender engine to recharge the 28.39 kWh high voltage battery. The EREV version has 200km of range (CLTC) in pure EV mode, which gives a good idea of how aerodynamically efficient the 007 is with such a small battery pack. The BEV version has three models. 530Pro (BEV): 160 kW/310 Nm rear electric motor, 56.83 kWh battery pack (LFP), 530 km pure electric range (CLTC), 6.8 sec 0 – 100 km/h acceleration time 620Pro (BEV): 200 kW/320 Nm rear electric motor, 70.26 kWh battery pack (LFP), 620 km pure electric range (CLTC), 5.8 sec 0 – 100 km/h acceleration time 540AWD Max (BEV): 400 kW/640 Nm dual motors, 70.26 kWh battery pack (LFP), 540 km pure electric range (CLTC), 3.9 sec 0 – 100 km/h acceleration time So the brochure's quote of 3.9s to the century sprint can't do 620km of range - so it's a bit misleading to say one can get fast acceleration time and long range in one ride. It's not the same vehicle. Will be interesting to see if three models comes out at the same time. Hopefully the 530Pro can be in Cat A territory to compete against Tesla Model 3 and BYD Seal. Otherwise it's going to be a non-starter.
steveting99 3rd Gear October 18, 2025 Share October 18, 2025 (edited) The Dongfeng 007 is a mid to large size lift back sedan. Dimensions are: Length - 4,880mm Width - 1,895mm Height - 1,460mm Wheelbase - 2,915mm In China, can spec with scissor lift doors. Don't think this will be available in Singapore. Also in China, can also ask for an electric rear wing. Don't think this will be available in Singapore. During the night, both the headlights (composed of 104 LED elements) and taillights (composed of 230 LED elements) are highly recognizable. The 007 will stand out from the crowd. It also comes with a front trunk! It's a nice looking and practical ride for those who don't want an SUV, who are more concerned with ride and handling. The Rear Wheel Drive (RWD) bias will make it a more engaging and be a driver's car. Will be interested in the OMV of the Dongfeng 007 and how margin Volt Auto is making. Rickster 5th Gear October 18, 2025 Share October 18, 2025 I’ve seen this car in the flesh 3 weeks ago. Impressive. Door weight and closing feels like an E class. Size of the car is larger than the current Camry. Built quality feels very impressive and design very upmarket.

Dongfeng should make a two-door convertible roadster like the MG Cyberster with scissor doors. Currently, roadster EV is very rare in the market, hope to see more brands having it.
