Main reasons their (conti) cars getting more expensive yet quality dropping due to cost cutting. Brand premium can only last so long and not forever. It's who likes to press one button and whole panel moves?

Sad to say Audi has lost the plot 

Now it's up to beemer fanboys and merc wannabes to keep the badge premium alive

That's my thought too.

Premium brand charge premium price must give something in return...if they just sell badge, rich people are not stupid people.

It will be a matter of time their customers realise that they are paying twice the money for a car that is generally not outstanding in:

  1. Exterior design (After close door won't feel like turning back to admire it)
  2. Interior design (I suspect after their designers got poached, they hired ex Japanese car interior designers who got fired)
  3. Performance (Not engaging. Nothing to shout about. Many cars that cost half can easily out maneuverer and outrun it)
  4. Tech equipment level (Lost bragging rights at parties vs other new Cat A Chinese car owners on their new car's tech innovation)
  5. Safety equipment level (No diff from cars that cost half their price)

One thing this particular premium brand likely win, but it will usually happen only after 3-5 years of ownership - Help the owners make good friends with the workshop guys and even regularly enjoy free coffee and snacks at the workshop!

Pricing went bonkus too. 400k for E class, 5er and A6.

Can buy entry level porky 😃 even then its still bad value, no options standard equipment. Just prestige.

Interior looks outdated. The design language got the feel of the current aging G20 3 series.

Even the C class interior looks better anytime. And the A6 is supposed to compete against the 5 series and E class... 

I don't think it will sell well.

Why I like the C class is because they break the mould of using a horizontal screen. Vertical screens appear more flushed and less distracting.

Buying porker badge still got value, even if it is a bare porky.

Besides better reliability (less things to kaput), can also get the networking value, get into porker club and make friends with high SES people who can help your biz.

Porker badge definitely more gravitas. But not sure if one wanna join porker club after dat....

Same as Porsche,Eurokars built up the Brand,now take back,Audi & Porsche are under VW Group of Cars

Yeah, esp already keep hearing comments like only 911 is a true porky. 🤣 Anyway being able to afford a car in SG is already something else much less an 400k car, entry level anot.

Vertical screen makes more sense for navigation but probably harder to package into the dash. The stick-on-a-table design is lazy and easier.

Lol...and probably hear HL comments that they paid full cash for the 911, compare income tax, how the 911 is underutilised since they're always on vacation and at home got dunno how many other cars to choose from, blah-blah-blah. LOL
