I got hit by a guy who drove his week old altis to IMM today . Suddenly stop 5m after the slope up the carpark, and me was stuck behind when his car start "slipping" back ... and the rest is history as my horn is not powerful enough to stop the car and there are car behind me .

After the car kiss and i step out at look into his car and i can see him playing the gear -Park to drive and drive to park and back to drive .

i have a noob question.

 

example, you are driving on 2nd lane, for some reason. your car seems to be a metal magnet and a vehicle draw towards you either from 1st or 3nd lane. who is at fault?

and if you were to take a photo, it shows the vehicle cross the line and hit.

is it still a 50-50?

just to share my encounter on monday.

a colleague of mine was hit by lorry...

the lorry was at fault and was keep apologizing..

 

agreed to go to lorry's friend workshop for full repair...

however, the colleague play punk..

went to borneo... and cough a bill of 6k just for simple dent at bumper...

total ripped off...

Kana this case b4 with a taxi somemore. I was in my lane and he juz cut in and hit me on my front left fender portion. whereas his driver's door n passenager's door dent. He got passenage on board somremore. When i went down, my 1st question is ask everyone is ok. When confirm nobody injuried, I access both damages without talking or saying a single word, despite the driver keeping me questions. After I confirmed my own damage is within my budget, i told the driver he will settle his while i settle mine. No insurance claim from either parties, and he agreeded. So i took out a paper n started writing the statement with his particulars n signature. The letter ends with no claims shall be made on either party from now till thereafter, followed by a 3rd party witness.

 

I was suprised the taxi kept his words n never play punk. But I still got to fork out 300 on my own. Afterall, its better than letting the insurance company earn.
