Why you so clever?? Of course, it's an auto.

 

I was on the way to T2 departure hall at Changi Airport, when a truck was in front, and a taxi just behind on the right.

...only need to drop gear when you are oredi in your top gear....4th or 5th and revved up........if you are oredi at 3rd just rev up and change to 4th....no need to drop to 2nd hor ........if not will be very embarrassing hor .......accompanied by strange and unpleasant noises from your tranny .......and $$$$ in repair bills.......

no need to use brake... [laugh]

just turn,,,

 

instead of 1 year change tyres,9 month i must change tyres [lipsrsealed]

What's the correct method for using engine brake??

 

wasn't taught when taking highway code. hee hee.

not so drastic down shift lah. it still will. assuming you travelling at 100 then you down shift fm 5th to 4th, the cut also significant.

Control it with your clutch lah .... dont release it immediately , half-clutch it on the downshift ... thumbsup.gif

 

cluth expensive leh, the i better use brakes.

yeap, that is when you hear the loud noise and the car jerk..

 

Hmm then that's not the right way to engine brake. You should still be using your brakes and not relying entirely on the engine to brake the car. It should be a smooth process and your car shouldn't jerk...

 

trying to find a way to stop without the brakes and clutch.

i do use engine brake when approach a cornering, and if necessary then i will step on brake! [:)]

airbrakes is a flipper as in like a fish's patoral.
