Not for or against. I really like the way things are now. Easy and everyone can take part. Never liked the idea of paying to be in a club / forum. Am a mod from another form as well, we decide to do away with anything concerning money matters, only the sale of decals and shirts. Other then that, everyone is free to come for a meet up or gathering. We have members who are active in the forum but never attended a gathering but it was never an issue with us.

Just my 2 cents worth of thoughts. [;)]

Those related to cars topic should be left accessible to guest.

Secret stuff like modding, racing locations, illegal workshops or petrol kisok can be put into secret vault.

Members who have posted a certain number times or contribute to the forum then able to access these secret vaults.

Like play games like that, only members with certain reputation or points then can access certain stuff.

I agree with you. Maybe you guys want to limit certain topics from certain "people" thus the need for some change to the way your forum works. But please leave the general and normal stuff in the open, because that's where I get my info from. [thumbsup]

As for the reputation or point, you got that idea from Sammy Boy?? [sly][laugh]

Voted Yes, this thread is too fast... Sorry if my thoughts are repeated. Basically what is

the objective of this forum should be examine before a decision. Numbers of eyeball vs 'exclusiveness'

E.g. if only registered member can view certain folders, need to decide which folder are open to public.

If Guests' view of this forum is so limited and of no real value, eyeballs to this site will be reduced - not a good thing.

But if just by registration, it is open to members, then some members may not exercise restrains on their posting thinking it is exclusive.

"Big Brother" can still register and obtain 'the inside news'

Another method which may be suggested is the "premium membership" and exclusive folders to certain members.

No matter what, you cannot stop someone from infiltrating it to see what is posted.

With 'premium' membership, the false sense of security again could act against posters and get them in hot soup.

Even with reminders, people tend to 'forget' the word responsibility after some time.
