Almost like Volkswagen liao but still not as bad.

The SA told me to call 1 week in advance to book my 1k servicing. End up when I called I only got an appt for 2 weeks later. So really guys, call early to book your servicing appt.

Now i know why the newer models FC is better. They use less viscosity oil.

Not only oil,the compression are almost the highest in the market.

0w-20 is a very uncommon engine oil rating to be used here in Singapore. Its viscosity is lower at high temperature when compared to 0w-30 same brand.

With 10k servicing to change engine oil, it is a bit risky to wait till 10k with the start/stop road traffic conditions here. I think changing them at 8K interval is safer. Thoughts?

The oil is not lower viscosity at higher temperature compared to a 0W-30. At ambient temp, its already lower.

10K service interval is very common among the most of the car makes. VW's interval is 15K instead.

Mazda used special engine oil as what they told me. they will refuse to change using your own engine oil as this will void their warranty.

also they will change engine oil only at 10k servicing. 1k servicing is just to check your car without any change being made.

driving mazda 5 here.

Not so special...their oil.

Not too long ago, most Japanese Manufacturers filled up their new cars with Mineral Engine Oil ( some still do), which after the 1000Km break -in period of the engine, it needs to be replaced.

Mazda new cars now are filled up with Synthetic oil, hence, they will only need to be replaced every 10,000Km.

New Mazda Owners, have you download your Mazda Toolbox yet?

Red is nice but the sales personnel told me that will cost an extra $500. So I chose black.

Hi everyone, are there any wheel rim experts here who can advise me whether a set of Rays Gram Lights 57 17" rims (pcd 5x114.3, ET43, 17x7j) will fit on my new M5? I've checked online and found out that our M5 rims are pcd 5x114.3, ET52.5, 6.5j, but not sure if it's still possible to fit these rims...any advice would be much appreciated!
